Pretty much this. He has always been so focus on revenge, then on not dying, he forgets what it means to have a family, to put the focus on family and love (in this case for him, it’s TH and CS, his close knit family). The saying she said pull him out of that one track mind of revenge n finding the cure for the star curse. Ppl on the comment before wish there were more showing on how FY developed feelings for BS, and at that time, I couldn’t say. But upon rewatching, I noticed the bits I missed, I don’t know how I missed it, but kids n husband! I’ll blame them 🤣 and knowing what we know about FY later on, these details explained a lot more, enjoying my rewatch, where I can listen to the dubs (since I have seen most crucial clips multiple times in Chinese) and pay 110% on everything else 🤣

It’s sad that we didn’t get to see them walk the red carpet together on iqiyi scream night, because his suit was totally MM theme, moon n stars! But yes, I love that night, his eyes sparkled n he was very happy it seems! He’s so handsome! Especially more with that sparkling eyes n bright smile
Rewatching, currently just finished ep.2, and I think FY got a lot softened by her when she said: human life only has 100yrs, therefore you must celebrate every birthday with a smile. Her wisdom really struck him, especially when he has lost all his loved one

And I think the reason why she’s mad because 10 years, ppl laughed at her, she had multiple beatings from her dad, no one believes her, treat her like she’s a crazy person (mental illness).
