Not really lol. I’m one of those that if the show tries hard to make me laugh, I will rebel lol. Just the loud comedic BGM would make me cringe and run 🫤 I’ll go back n check it properly once I’m over SOKP lol (though I kinda know the ending and the middle messy derange character, and as I stated at the beginning, the all antidote poison pill make me 😒😒😒😒 n then I heard of the protection against all injures pill 😒😒😒😒😒😒😒😑😑😑😑😑😑😑 that’s so xianxia, wuxia is not plot armour like that at all lawl).

I was very sad that he felt he needed to apologise, while it’s good that he knows he can learn more and while he’s not perfect, he did extremely well, and his acting as XW is commendable, and I wish he could know that and have more confidence in his acting.

*hug. SOKP has the sweetest ending I’ve ever seen in cdrama land lol. A lot of time, sweet ending can be very cheesy. But not this one, just a perfect note of happiness, relax, and realism at the same time.

Haha, yes, it seems ppl really lower it down for BE/SE. TTEOTM also suffer the same fate. Rewatch value is rather hard to judge lol, only HE has good rewatch value. Anything sad, only parts of it is good for rewatch value. Like I can sit there and rewatch LIS constantly, but say any of those harem politics (unless it’s the tvb war of beauty, because I just can’t move on from GiGi and Bowie Lam lol 😅) - no, thank you lol. SOKP is fine because it’s not harem politics lol. Same with I can rewatch all the Louis cha stuffs but I don’t think I care for modern wuxia, none of them seems to have that kind of characters, world building, relationships, mystery gel so well with each other like his novels lol.

Same, I actually didn’t see ZLH as handsome (I don’t tend to understand an actor/actress’s beauty until one of their role hit me), and I love his ugly shots in here lol. They made his character more realistic. And yes, I’ll be catching his drama from now on lol
