You know what just don't stress over it too much and try not to hate on a character that was not even setup to be a villain. The story hasn't ended yet and JP is only realizing his feelings now wait for the writer to make him step up his game.

It's not his fault though. He's not even mentioning the "pen pal dosan" to get her attention or feelings rather he keep trying to show his real self. He was literally dragged into HJP and the grandmother's lie and was asked not to tell Dalmi the truth. And he likes the girl and was was given the chance to be with her so he grabbed it. Wait for JP to step up his game. You're unnecessarily hating on a character out of shipping.
Out of context but Seon Ho really reminds me of Suho of EXO since I first saw him in waikiki. And wow the hate Dosan gets is making me (๏_๏) did we both watch the same drama? I've never seen Dosan act bad? Or did I missed something? Both male leads are good but flawed and that's realistic. I just hope in the second half of the story we will have more startup plot and more of In Jae x Dal Mi scenes.
I'm a huge Suzy fan and I'm fond of Seon Ho but I was hesitant when NJH was announced as part of the main casts but as the story unfold I'm starting to get hooked without minding who the actors are. I love the theme of the story I relate to it. I've been there at Dal Mi's shoes and even Dosan's. My only problem here is the glaring love triangle plot but I'm also looking forward to whom Dal Mi will choose once the truth is out.
First, I love Dal Mi's character. She's optimistic, strategist and courageous. I'm rooting for her (go prove In Jae is the one who made the wrong choice! Lol)
Second, both male leads are liars (white lie or not a lie is a lie) and flawed which is realistic.
1-3 ep I'm fond of Ji Pyeong but for now I'm more fond of Do San. He's clumsy and he lacks confidence (pretty annoying). He's the nerd loser type of ML in short, but I'm in awe of his courage when it comes to Dal Mi. There's no hesitation for him when it's Dal Mi (with pros and cons) and I admire his perseverance for his dreams despite constant words of discouraging honesty that's been thrown at him (SamSan Tech team). I mean, I get Mr. Nam, too, but even in reality success doesn't come instant or quick for others no matter how smart or hard working someone is. And there's where I get annoyed at Ji Pyeong, too. Yup, he only stated facts concerning SamSan tech and about Dosan but he could have chosen the nice or lesser demeaning words to tell the trio what they are lacking. I bet if you received the same discouraging honesty like what Ji Pyeong have said, you'd feel crushed, too. Gladly, the trio persevered regardless. Ah, I was also annoyed at how Ji Pyeong undressed his secretary in front of a crowd during sandbox hackathon. That's just so inconsiderate as a superior to your subordinate it's not funny at all. But I love Ji Pyeong's relationship with grandma and how he succeeded in life despite having to do it all by himself. He's tsundere kind of ML.
In short, I just want Dal Mi to succeed for herself, for grandma and on behalf of her Dad; to reunite with her mom and sister; and for grandma to stay alive until the finale, whether then she'll be with Dosan or Ji Pyeong.
I don't feel the chemistry even a bit. The against all odds, I'll die to save you and I'll defy heaven and hell just to be with you/save you is too corny now for me. I hope Jia become imoogi in the end lmao sorry

This is the kind of drama you never expected would be so good but then, it ended up not just good but PERFECT. Each episodes just gets better and better. The characters had their own role to fill and the storyline is well thought out. Acting? Just hats off. One day I'll re-watch it for sure. And now, it landed in my all time fave drama list.
