I need a huge spoiler, I know that the ml is general Huo's son but is it true that our fl is also not the real deal? Someone said the real cheng Shao Shang also died at a young age, is that true? If so, what is her real identity?
So I heard that she's still gonna get engaged to the asshole YS. That makes me worry because according to the trailer, she is gonna get engaged to our ml in the next coming episodes. This makes me feel like they are gonna fall in love during their engagement, then the ml will jump off the cliff (as in that trailer) and disappear (presumed dead)for years, then during that time, she will be forced for some reason to marry YS. Hopefully, this won't be the case.
I don't know hey, I still do not believe that she was truly in love with Yao. I think she loved him as a friend and enjoyed being around him because he was so supportive of her. I also think that she saw a stable life with him, which is what turned her to him, but I do not think she loved him as a man.
okay, this has been bugging me since the emperor was introduced, how can our ml be the adopted/ foster son of the emperor when he has a father that is alive and well and whose house he lives in? Don't you become someone's adopted/foster son when you don't have one or both of your parents? It started to make me wonder if the ml's father is his father or maybe his birth father is dead?
She's not romantically interested in LBY though. He's caring, sure..but that doesn't mean she owes him her affection.…
her eyes are wondering towards LBY though, she just doesn't understand it yet or even if she does understand it, she just hasn't accepted it yet since he is the type of man she always said she didn't want to end up with.
looking at the trailer, it seems like our fl is gonna stick to this engagement, even as she falls for our ml. It looks like she is going to try hard to push him away at every turn, but I have a feeling that her mother's words will haunt her because even though she keeps pushing him away, she seems to be struggling. The mother also seems to see the feelings between our leads and it seems like she would prefer them together. The end of the trailer was so sad, though, when our ml was saying goodbye to our fl and saying they will be strangers even if he does come back alive.
I wonder if she will go through with the wedding, that Yao guy's family doesn't seem that nice from the trailer and I think the mother knew that, that is why she wants the fl to get to know them for herself so she can see how they are. Will she be stubborn about it and end up a divorcee like her mom?
Ep14:Standing there in rain, he saw an innocent girl who doesn't want to do anything with bloodshed and want to…
ya, even though when she made that comment about hating ppl with blood on their hands, i think she was talking about the ones who kill innocent ppl not the ones who kill to protect ppl like her family members and the ml do, but at this point she does want a peaceful life with someone who wont leave her.
I don't think she meant it like that. LBY just took it that way. She meant people who take innocent lives for…
That is all good and well but like everyone else has said she was talking about people who kill innocent ppl , she was not referring to ppl who kill to protect ppl like the ml or her parents, but the ml did take it the wrong way because i think that is an insecurity that he has.
This is so crazy to me, for weeks i put off watching this till the end because of all the bad comments about it. Week to week i would read comments after each episode and most of the comments were always bad. Today i watched all 10 episodes back to back and i was floored, what were these people talking about? This season was so well made, in my opinion, it was even better that the first season. This season also gave me such an indie feel, like an artsy vibes. I also didn't find as depressing as what people made it out to be, in fact i actually found it a bit amusing in the beginning. I also think that in the whole season, it was so obvious that JW still loved SJ , it was clearly shown to us. Every time he would say something really harsh to SJ, he would then feel really bad about it, it was so obvious. People complained about the ex gf's storyline but when I watched it, I felt that her storyline was created to show us how JW got to the decision of leaving SJ. When he felt lonely while he was with SJ, he started thinking about his relationship with her and their last fight. He now understood how she felt back then and he felt bad about it. I also feel like if she hadn't been there then SJ would not have felt jealous enough to find an excuse to go stay in that town. I feel like JW blamed SJ for his loneliness in that relationship because he had been the reason that the ex gf had been lonely in their relationship. He could not clearly see that SJ had tried everything and sacrificed a lot to make sure that he spent a lot of time with him whereas when he was with the ex gf, when she needed him the most, he was all caught up in his grief and his passion for cooking so he made the mistake of comparing two situations that were very different. When he said he wanted SJ to contact him i found myself curious as to why he then switched his phone off and never read any msgs or answered any calls. Then i remembered SJ saying that in the first month, he thought that JW would come back and so i wondered if he only started sending the messages after a month and maybe that is why JW had switched his phone off, because he had not contacted him straight away. Then i found myself wondering is the reason that JW was so mean to SJ because SJ took a year to find him when all he did was go home ? Which is why when SJ arrived there he thought that his career was in trouble or that he only wanted him now because he was a challenge since he didnt want him anymore? Its like he wanted to be chased by SJ for him to be sure that he is important to SJ but then SJ took so long to find him and once he did he didn't trust that he really meant that much to him, but he did like SJ continuing to chase him. Then when he was faced with the reality that SJ might actually really give up on him, coupled with him seeing the messages, he suddenly remembered all the things that SJ did to make sure he was put first in that relationship so that he never felt lonely and finally realized that unlike in the situation with the ex GF, this really wasn't SJ's fault.
Some ppl complained about them getting back together, I also thought that I would have rather they had a time skip before getting back together, but I also felt like things had changed, JW stopped making his world about SJ, but instead decided to focus on his business, only seeing SJ twice a week instead of being at home waiting for SJ to come home from work. I also like that he kept his friendship with the single mom and her daughter so he can have other ppl in his life who love him besides SJ, I felt like those were huge steps in making sure that their relationship would be healthier this time around. I also love the honesty between them now, them bearing their souls to each other which was also something different, i would love to see SJ talk more about his parents to JW as well.
All in all, this was really good in my opinion and the sweetness in the last episode was really good too.
