Like I said, it would have been nice if they left us doubting for once.

I wish this were about Jira being attracted and having strong feelings for two guys and not knowing who to choose, rather than what it is about, which is Jira keeping a guy that he knows he has no romantic feelings for around to make himself feel better while not wanting to admit that he likes the "villain". It would have been fun for the audience to be left on the edge of their seat, not knowing who the final pairing will be.

So clearly, Koh saw or heard Jira and Peem together at Jira's place. Otherwise, why did he ask about them both when he spoke to the bartender? I'm curious, though. I know that he checked Jira's location to find him at the bar, but how did he know that Peem goes there too?

He can’t be master of everything, and also he was young when his father died.
Can't be the master of everything. He also didn't live there alone all the time though, Have we forgotten the guy was there with him?

Because in this series, he's a strategist; he's cunning. He is steps ahead of quite a few people. Sure, he will…
Who says someone who knows martial arts can't still be all those things though?

Since you said that you don't understand, let me give you an explanation.First, a lot of people have the misconception…
Thank you for your explanation. I just want to clarify that my assumption is based on how these family dynamics are usually set out in these Asian dramas. There is always a son that is groomed to take over the father's role. I also wish they could have explained all that in the drama as they did in Nirvana in Fire, instead of leaving it up to the audience to deduce. As for him learning martial arts, I would have assumed that he would learn it the way he learned everything else, with help from someone. The man he was with in the weed field could have been the one to teach him during the years they watched over his sister, that would have made sense.
On The Vendetta of An Dec 17, 2025
I still don't understand why he can't fight. It makes no sense that his father wouldn't have taught him martial arts when he was a general and this was his only son. They are trying to do the Nirvana in Fire thing, but it makes no sense in this story as it did in Nirvana in Fire.

Just watched the special episode. Come to Canada and get married!!!!I loved the special episode but it feels kind…
I think we would have all loved an ending where they got married and told everyone about their relationship, but I think this ending was more realistic and true for many gay guys in Japan. Many of them keep their true selves hidden from people close to them. I remember when on the reality show called "the boyfriend" , which is the first lgbtq+ dating show in Japan , the cast talked about their experiences of coming-out. Most of them only came out when they were adults, one had not even come out yet and another had just come out before he came on the show. One of the hosts who wears drag admitted that his mother had passed away before ever knowing about his true self. So this is the reality. I had no issues with the realistic ending, I just wished they had addressed the trauma that Jin had because of Haruki leaving him before. He still had that fear of losing him again and I wish we could have seen a scene where the two had an honest conversation about Jin's feelings during that time. I feel like they focused more on what Haruki felt , but what about the person he left behind?

I already knew that his designs would get stolen.
Why do they always like one of the characters to be some kind of damsel in distress in these dramas? Now everyone will have to help clear his name and people will mistreat him because everyone will think he is a thief. Honestly, that better get resolved in the same episode because I can't watch 3 episodes of a Lin pity party.

On a side note, there has to be a way for an intern to protect their designs from being stolen and copyrited by someone else if they work at a company. Maybe the company should ask the intern to not give all the info regarding the design until that said design is chosen, then when they choose to use it they should go with that said intern to copyrite the design. Wouldn't that be a way to keep their designs safe?

I think its all about your interpretation, but i believe both things are true. He wanted her family's support and also fell for her.

I really can't remember the last time I enjoyed the ending of a Chinese drama. I think they did a good job with the last couple of episodes, I cried, I laughed etc. They usually mess things up towards the end of Chinese dramas but they didn't this time around, the drama kept the standard that it was on. They are one of my favorite drama couples to date.

Does Amai end up with Chang Yu Quing in the novel? There is a much better chemistry between them albeit they don't…
In the novel, her and Yi Zhi are not in love , the love story is between her and Chang Yu Quing.

how can she be the host of that sword when she couldn't even hold it the time she tried to steal it from our ml while he was sleeping? If she is the host, why is the ml the one who can hold it?

The issue i have with the plot of this series is that it acts like its a second season of the show. It's like…
Well I'm not used to watching things and being expected to just know what is going on in the story just based off a tag. To give you an example, the American show Vampire diaries. You know someone who has never heard of a vampire could've watched it and understood exactly what it was, they explained everything, from where it originated, who the first vampire was , how the characters got turned , how one turned into a werewolf, how one turned into a hybrid, how people would find out about them etc., everything was always explained . They explained how every character got to every stage that they were in which is what i feel like is missing in the series that is shown in the novel.

what things are not explained?
For example, I had no idea what he meant by "alpha", I'm only used to that term when it refers to a werewolf. I didn't understand how everyone knew about his powers including his competitors and was so calm about it like it was normal. If I hadn't heard from the novel readers, I wouldn't have understood why Charlie was talking about having kids all of a sudden or why Babe mentioned that they couldn't have them because they were both "alphas" instead of saying they are the same sex these are just some of the things I only got answers to, online as opposed to the series itself.
