they need to pull a life senjou no bokura and have SJ punch JW 1 time before they make up
and also at least with senjou no bokura, it took them years to get back together, i think that is what these two need, a time skip and maybe a litle flash back showing JW working through his mental struggles and getting better, then most of the last two episodes just be about his courting SJ and them starting over as a happy couple.
Yes, LC drug SM but as she said he did so willingly. He would have become a (her) soulless puppet and thats why…
I get the message but , especially in his case, he wants the martial arts world to change , wouldn't him rebuilding the sect to stand for what he thinks martial artist should stand for then influencing the rest of the martial arts world be a better option than him giving it all up and travelling? I thought that's why he said that speech in the other episode, he wanted the change the martial arts world so why give it all up? Like i said, for once i would love for these mls to actually be the leaders of the change they want to see instead of giving everything up and walking away, even if its just for variety, i am over all these kind of dramas always ending the same way.
So I am confused, did LC drug SM? Is that what she meant when she said he took her medicine so he cannot leave her or break her heart? Also, did he kill himself because BC killed himself? He just kept repeating the question "is he dead?" before killing himself.
On a side note, why is it in these dramas when the ml is asked to be the successor of something after the person they love dies, they always pass the responsibility to another person? It's always the same thing, they pass it along to someone else even tho the previous head wanted them to be the successor then they retreat to the woods somewhere or travel around, giving everything up. For once I would love for a ml to actually live up to their responsibility and build the change they want to see.
I am sorry, but I had to recheck if Joseph was really the ml in this. I knew something was off when the second lead character had a love triangle which is something that usually happens to the ml. How can WXS be the main lead when the story is mostly about BC, LC, and SM?
I think they are going to have to keep WXS dead as far as BCF knows until he does so many evil deeds there is…
I have not watched it yet but I would rather believe that he becomes evil because of his greed and ambition. They kept mentioning how ambitious he is so I expected him to cross that line especially after they were told about SMZ's failing health. I just wonder why they had to find another reason for him crossing that line. Isn't it weird that a friend can be such a huge moral compass for someone so much so that with that friend gone they loose all their morals and fully give into the dark side?
Also, i am a little disappointed at SMZ, did he not learn from what happened to his father? He knew how ambitious BC was but still chose to have him in his sect, why would you bring in another alpha when you are injured, didn't he foresee BC's actions? Maybe he thought WXS would always be there to restrain BC.
So from what people are saying BC becomes evil because he thinks his friend is dead, he is being drugged and was tortured? Does that mean he will go back to normal when he finds out that his bestie is alive? On a side note, I am at the beginning of the series but I already guessed that BC would want to steal the House of Sunset Drizzle away from SMZ.
Resuming this drama again after a while.. Already feel uneasy watching DOS where the girls got assaulted and beaten…
Yall need to stop looking for fairies and rainbows in art. Art usually reflects real life, the worst parts of it and the better parts of it. This thing of people always expecting some kind of perfect land in dramas and movies is ridiculous. Art should not be restricted by audiences. I have no problem watching violence against anyone in dramas and movies, I cry for those characters and my heart hurts for them. I also cheer them on when they get through those things because I realize that these are things that have happened to real people but that this is also just art.
that makes more sense, but of course in the drama they had to change his personality at the last minute in order to make it seem like he was only ruthless because the Yu guy influenced him.
would have rather they not have the ml have such a sad ending to his life and that they made the leads the new emperor and empress but i guess this ending is okay too. Kind of wild how HC all of a sudden had a character change but i guess he was made ruthless by the villain , its just such a pity because our leads are smarter, better at martial arts and care more about the common ppl that HC so they would have made such great leaders!
I don't understand why ppl always complain about this drama being different from the novel. Many times when they make a novel into a movie or drama it is usually never the same. They either change it based on their understanding of the novel or they add things that they think will make the story better or more appealing to ppl watching it. That's why you should never go into it expecting the same plot as the novels, just enjoy it on its own and afterwards you can judge if the drama/movie was enjoyable or not.
No matter what he can do anything to rule the world.
He is just too ruthless, i mean our fl was met with the same choice and she chose to spare his life yet he didn't have the same grace for her brother. I get that its a war and so you have to do what you can to get the upper hand but if we are gonna compare him with the leads when we are talking about good leaders then i feel like the leads win by far because they actually care about ppl's lives and try to end fights with little bloodshed.
so from my understanding , HC does care about the innocent people when Yu isnt next to him giving him advise or maybe he was just pretending in order to win people over because even the fl had to point out the fact that he was willing to wipe out an army of innocent soldiers just so he could figure out her formation and also be able to get control over his father in law's country. Maybe he realised that he was starting to look vicious and ruthless and knew that the common ppl would not support him over our leads if he continued on that path.
I love our fl but girl could have killed HC and gotten rid of half of her problems , sometimes being soft hearted can be a problem. This guy wants to rule the "world", therefore he will never stop trying to take over her country with or without Yu.
I know the people who have read the novel say HC will end up being the Emperor of the " world" because the leads will give up their half of the world , but if this is really true then i will not be happy. I am sorry but even though i am sure that HC does not know Yu's real identity, he is has been okay with all the bad things that he did ( that he knows of) as long as it helped him gain the "world". He is the one who is benefiting from most of Yu's actions and that just annoys the hell out of me that he will end up achieving his goal. We haven't even seen him showing concern for the common people, he is more about power. I would prefer a leader who cares for the ppl like the main leads and the fl's family.
I was hoping that we would have good female representation tho.
Also, i am a little disappointed at SMZ, did he not learn from what happened to his father?
