This is the first time i have seen masters who are not as smart as their students in these kind of dramas, like what is up with our main leads' masters , they don't use their brains?

I don't think he forgave his father, i just think he has no more expectations of him as a father. He doesn't think of him as a father anymore and therefore does not get hurt by his father's actions anymore. I think he let go of any expectations of his father the time when the father prepared that drink for him to take away his martial arts. I think he now just thinks of him as the ruler and he is his loyal subject.

They really tried to ruin this man but he is still holding on! I can't wait to check out his new show

Especially in those days, how else was she supposed to be able to talk to him or hang out with him? Its not like she could text him , follow him on twitter or call him up to ask him out. She had to find a way to get his attention.

But really though, I always get so frustrated at people judging fake characters in a drama using the same logic as you would for real people in the real world when ,unless its based on a true story, its all imaginary! Like, just stop thinking and watch this made up story and see if you enjoy it or not, that's it!

I wanted her to be a schemer in order to avenge her mom's death by bringing down the Lu family and ultimately her father as well. I also would have loved seeing her trying to make the ml jealous sooner because for a while i felt like she was the one always running after him even after they got together.

People who have an issue with how she was pursuing him before they got together need to get over it, why are yall always taking things so seriously and comparing it to real life? Its a fictional story in a different time period for goodness sake , why would you compare it to real life in 2022? I don't see most of yall complaining about ppl always jumping and flying so high ( which is impossible in real life) during the fight scenes in all these dramas because yall know its just a story , its not real, so why can't yall use the same logic when it comes to these characters' behaviors and actions?

I have only seen people talk badly about the Story of Minglan and as I said I had no idea why, but this is a comment section that is used to state one's opinion about a drama and saying I couldn't get past 4 episodes is my truth which I have a right to express. It really isn't healthy for you to be so obsessed with a drama that you criticize everyone who doesn't like the drama . As I said before, people like different things and that is okay, it is not that deep.

I have no idea what is going on with all this hate against The Story of Minglan or where it came from but to be honest that is one of my favorite Chinese dramas of all time, i have repeated it countless times but i can't even get through 4 episodes of this drama. People have different tastes and that's okay so just because you don't like a drama doesn't mean you have to be rude to people who do, its really not that deep.

first of all i don't get how this ml is the same as the ml from NIF 1, they kept saying that the ml was loved by the old emperor because he was the one who was most like the ml in NIF 1 which i don't get at all because the ml in NIF 1 was a genius and could see through everyone, whereas this ml is not as smart in my opinion. Secondly, the doctor who was friends with the ml in NIF is still alive in this one and is an old man but why didn't they ever mention what happened to Fei liu? I mean i wanted to know how he ended up more than knowing how that doctor ended up since it was quite obvious that the doctor would go back to that place since he was the master there, but what about Fei Liu? I mean Fei Liu was friends with Ting who is the father of the ml in this so did he come back here after the ml in NIF died or did he leave with the doctor? Who took over the sect when the ml from NIF died ? There is so much that was left unanswered.

What i like most about this ml though is the decisions that he made at the end because this was the only way to ensure that what happened to prince Qi , the Lin family and the army in the past doesn't happen again.

I was so surprised that I actually enjoyed this, even though I hate fake deaths I understood his explanation and if during that period our fl hadn't all of a sudden regressed from being this smart capable woman then I would have preferred them letting her in on the plan but she was so in love that she kind of lost some of her brain cells and I actually think she needed that time away from him to focus on her career and evolve as a detective. She had the most growth in her career during that time so i didn't mind the fake death troupe so much in this one. Most of the troupes were dealt with pretty quickly and our fl didn't annoy me at all. This for me was another sleeper hit foe sure.

As far as I know Ever Night season 1 was really popular and people liked it, i still remember when it was airing , it was good which is why i heard Dylan jumped on it, his agency wanted him to star in a successful drama and since the first season was popular they put him in the lead for the second season and that's where the mess started in my opinion. I will never understand why they would change a ml of a popular drama, it makes no sense to me , but they did and most people didn't like the change. I am wondering why you think the first season of Ever Night didn't do well?

I am wondering why Leo Wu isn't gonna be back as the ml in the second season ? Chinese dramas are notorious for changing actors in follow up seasons of their dramas even when the dramas are really popular and I don't get it . Why don't they secure the actors for every possible season that they will shoot for the drama so these actors are sure to come back for the following seasons? The only time I have seen that happen in a western series is if the actor dies and is then replaced otherwise I have never seen them changing a cast of a popular drama and just crossing fingers that people will still watch it, its crazy to me.

People saying this is one of the best bls this year are crazy, it was just okay to watch, i only gave it a 7, giving it a 8.4 was too generous in my opinion. Like do yall realise that giving this a 8.4 is saying this is better than Cherry Magic, Life on the line and many other really good bls? Im sorry but yall have lost it!

so how can the ml still have poison in his body when last season the Devine healer said the poison wasn't that serious and he could be cured? Now all of a sudden he still has some poison left and it even causes memory loss? Why would the healer just go travel the world while his patient is still sick? It just makes no sense!
