The brothers ended up with a relationship based not only on brotherly love but also on dependence and guilt. It's not healthy. Dealing with what happened in the past is fine though I wonder if Sang Tae will ever face that he actually left his brother in the water to die....and he didn't go back. He's been allowed to pretty much run the show based on Gang Tae's guilt/love all these years.
I really like this show; it's one of my favorites out of this year and my favorite with this actor. (I've only finished one of his dramas.) He has got to be one of the best criers in the business.

I just came across a article about PBIO on a blog koalaplayground(which i thought was dead btw) and oh lord the…
I've been reading this blog on and off for years and something has gone off the rails over the last few years. I think she (@ockoala) spends too much time talking about ratings which gets everyone hot and bothered and not in a good way. While I do feel it is unfortunate when dramas I like don't get a lot of ratings love, it has absolutely nothing to do with international fans and yet she continues to post rating stuff every week. I guess it gets clicks and views but it has really ruined having any type of conversation about the actual show.
I can't believe this drama's written by the same writer as "Jugglers" - it's so much different, and better!
I liked Jugglers truth be known. I just like when writers are able to jump genres instead of doing their same ole thing. I suspect she's been on many a writing team as a non-lead writer for years.
I like J-dramas quite a bit and the only issue keeping me from watching more is that Japan doesn't seem to have much interest in licensing them to an international audience. I am not a fan of using illegal computer-killing sites. I agree with the shorter # of episodes being generally a positive. I do sometimes think they could do a little more character building with another episode here or there but, given a choice, I'll take fewer episodes over 4 episodes of filler which happens in K-drama. (Don't get me started on the C-dramas.)
I think J-dramas do an excellent job specifically in slice-of-life and any kind of procedural. My first J-drama was Last Cinderella. RIP Haruma
This web drama is the length of a movie in short little installments. I'm not gonna say it is anything spectacular but touching on bullying and favoritism within k-pop groups, saesang fans, how idols falling out of favor can be ripe for abuse is more than seems to be dealt with irl. It's all wrapped up in a fluffy romance but an easy watch. I actually would love to see a full-length drama really hit on the dark side of k-pop someday.
Is it me or is the ML's secretary's mom a weirdo?? I'm not sure if she's trying to hook up her daughter with the…
My theory is she fell in love with a previous version of the ML when she herself was young. That ML version dies young. She sees the ML and realizes that he's been reincarnated but knows she can't have him for herself so she wackadoo-like decides to set him up with her daughter. Maybe she remembers past lives back to Joseon time as well. Or not...who knows.
Do you mean inconsistent in the humor or drama or in the actual writing like certain episodes are better written?
I think the writers are trying a bit too hard with some over the top funny stuff at times and hopefully it will calm down now that we've got past the first few weeks. I know they use writing teams for k-drama though usually just one writer is listed, and on a drama a while back a viewer had a theory that the "good" writer wrote every 3rd episode or something like that. lol
You Tube has a SNL Korea bit with Taemin of Shinee called "Grow A Boy" which is hilarious. It is a woman trying to train a guy into being what she sees in the k-dramas. I don't know what YT algorithm sent it my way but it is friggin hilarious about what those tropes would look like in real life. (There are 2 parts to it for anyone who wants to check it out.)
Personally, I'm waiting for more of the show to come on air first, before investing my time in this. I am a fan…
Ratings wise The King with LMH, Melting Me Softly with JCW and this drama are for the Korean tv stations underperformers. Even if they get/got okay ratings it is more about the production cost and needing that ad revenue for the airing stations to make it up.
Having said that, there is nothing new here. Rain had his post military come back as My Lovely Girl. Hyun Bin had Hyde, Jeckyl and I. Rain is winning life even without a huge hit drama now and Hyun Bin came back strong with Crash Landing. Really SJK coming back with DOTS after his military service is a rare big win that is more the exception than the rule. And he only got that part because 5 or so other actors turned it down.
I thought the first 2 episodes of this drama were solid but by episode 4, I was totally hooked. I actually think this is my favorite performance of KSH who I've generally been middle of the road about. It just might be a drama that gets more international love.
I think this drama is ok, nothing special. I'm not sure if this is true but some people have said that this drama…
In terms of ratings in Korea, BR got higher ratings this past week. However, I don't necessarily know if they are in competing timeslots as BR is a Fri/Sat and It's OK is Sat/Sun. Also It's okay is on cable so viewership is usually a bit less than a public station though you do have those huge breakout hits on occasion. I would say It's Ok is doing respectable but not super awesome. Their own production said they hoped for 15%. They are in the 5ish% so far.
I have so many dramas that I've loved suffer from mediocre and disappointing ratings. It just is what it is.
What happened to the role choices JCW made in his last few dramas, with each drama he has been in, he has dropped…
Actors take roles for many different reasons. No one will ever convince me Lee Min Ho signed on to play a high school kid in Heirs for any other reasons than the money and the big name writer. I suspect JCW signed on to MMS because the writer wrote Strong Woman DBS and that was a huge hit internationally and locally. I disliked and dropped it but it is what it is. She also wrote Woman of Dignity which did very well in Korea. The PD of the current drama directed Punch and The Fiery Priest which both were solid performers I would say especially for the male leads.
Maybe he just wasn't getting as many offers as we think and he could make bank on these...who knows. I do think he should be very careful in his next choice.
can anyone tell me if this drama has a lot of romance or if it’s the main point?
I would say it is primarily a romance with the setting in the mental health world and everyone having various issues. Unlike some dramas, I actually think we are seeing them get to know each other, like each other, understand each other and eventually love each other. This is actually what a romance drama is supposed to do but so often doesn't. The chemistry is off the charts here but it is an odd kind of drama so not for everyone.
I never was a fan of Kim Soo hyun, i never liked his acting , i watched a couple of his dramas, and nothing. Though…
I'm middle of the road on KSH, and I would say if you are not hooked at the end of episode 4, this might not be for you. The actress is killing it in this. She's awesome.

This article is funny because it's true!
