This cast doesn't make sense tho lee joon gi could be randalf but is so far from being jamie (he is old and way…
That's why I mentioned that LJG was too old. I just thought he had the talent and is good in historicals and action. I mentioned him because I can't come up with a 23ish aged actor who could pull this off. As for Claire, there aren't many non-delicate actresses in k-dramaland. I mean earthy in a positive way as sensual, gutsy...it's hard to explain.

Title It's Okay to Not Be Okay Spoiler
My guess ( based on sixth ep):- That KMY father is bluebeard and he killed his wife but the real question is....…
I think KMY's father built the house in the forest because his wife was mentally ill, and he didn't want to have her committed because of shame or trying to protect her. And something went very, very wrong... lol That's all I got thus far. I actually hope there is no connection about her family and what happened to his mom.

I can not even begin to describe how much I am loving this drama. I feel like I'm strange because I couldn't make…
CLOY kind of fizzled out by the end for me, but I enjoyed the earlier parts, the village and the soldiers. Ratings are a fickle thing. This drama is doing respectable since it's on cable but not outstanding. If KSH got a big paycheck, I hope the production got mucho dinero from Netflix.

I'm wondering if anyone can give me a comparison review of this show in relation to It's Okay, That's Love, which…
Besides dealing with mental health issues, they are not similar. I like they are focusing on the caretaker issue and delving into what it is like to take care of people who have challenges, such as the brother with autism and what that means for the life of the main lead.

I would pick Lee Joon Gi for Jamie Fraser. In all honestly probably both LJG and YAI are on the older side but not too sure about an actor in the right age bracket. Actress wise I think someone with a much earthier vibe than SHK either Shin Hye Sun or the gal playing the lead in It's Okay to Not Be Okay. I've seen her in a few things and she also has a raw intensity.

But it will never happen ...

She got busted with texts showing she was gonna blackmail the dude and it was planned with the manager. Maybe the actor and alleged victim are both seriously messed up people. I also miss solid historicals in k-drama. Haven't started this one yet.

Dramas have a tradition of always starting out so good than after like half, it slowly gets problematic, rushed,…
Some drama blogger once wrote about the structure of Korean dramas and why they basically all end up with the formula mentioned. It comes down to the live shoot with the most polished episodes being the first ones, often having to change the story to suit audience tastes (hence the live shoot), being stuck with 16 episodes when you only have 12 hours of story to tell. I'm amazed more when a drama remains somewhat cohesive. Pre-produced dramas haven't really escaped issues as much as I would have hoped. Basically the k-drama King of Dramas is a documentary.

If I bothered to be concerned about a k-drama character, it would be about her helping the reporter dude tumble down the stairs which could have actually killed him. But it's a tv show so I don't bother worrying too much.

This drama is just soooo good so far, so are the low-ish viewership ratings on the episodes caused by people in…
It is still early and ratings can improve, but I have found that healing dramas are often not beloved in Korea.

i like this drama but it’s not okay that they used a quote from shinee’s jonghyun without crediting him
Do you mind saying what it was?

i don't see why ratings are so important to international audience when we don't even contribute to them
I also don't know why international fans care about local ratings though I think it normally has to do with having a bias for an actor. This is the male lead's comeback drama and even if the ratings don't improve, he at least is thus far in a quality drama with cohesive storytelling. That's a win given what has happened to other post-military comebacks.

One of the only things that bothers me is how I would not have been able to watch this if the ML and FL roles…
I actually thought they were maybe poking at the stereotypical overly obsessive male lead that we do sometimes see in dramas and how it is romanticized.

I just wish netflix would drop all the episodes. The waiting game is killing me. Each episode keeps getting better…
I think this is a weekend drama in Korea still airing right now because another site keeps showing the ratings. Netflix is basically airing them around the same time as Korea I believe.

I loved Chief Kim and Pegasus Market, u think that this show is as good in the comedy? Should I give it a try?
I am a few episodes behind but so far I like this show for the growing bromance between the two lead guys.

Had no expectations for this one except thinking that k-drama normally doesn't pull off satisfying fantasy shows, but this one is a nice 12 episode delight. I actually liked they didn't do a full 16. I also think the actors, director and even the special effects worked well. I will admit the editing on the final episode was lackluster and there was something off with the pacing of ep 12 as well. Still a solid watch.

That Tablo story is one of the weirdest I've heard of occurring. I don't know if it is true but I think the initial lie was told by a Korean-American or a Korean living in America. I wondered if it was all due to jealousy over Tablo's success not only in academics but also in the musical field.

I have an issue with "instalove" where people act like they love each other deeply by episode 3. But I don't have issues with a kiss early because people can feel passionate about someone due to attraction. So I get instant attraction but not actually thinking you know who that person is and that you love them. I think maybe that's what she's going for though I don't know if I've explained it myself.

I'm not watching it, but The King is getting many complaints about this issue.
