I actually think it's 2hrs to go and 2hrs to come back, so the total trip would be 4hrs not 8😭 You do have a point though, maybe he didn't stay with Takoi but he DID stay in town because he knew about the audit and was trying to maintain that professional distance, but if so, I think that would be so out of his character (to me😂) since like myself, he seems to be a sucker for Takoi being vulnerable- which he was by asking Shiono to stay! And I don't think he would lie about catching the train. Or maybe he did give in and stay with Takoi that night and we just never saw😌 But Idk, either way works, honestly, for no other reason than it's them and whatever they do is right😂

The way I understood it was that it all boils down to Shiono's personality. Remember they were all lovey-dovey the night before the audit? I think his coldness stems from trying to keep professional and not embarrass himself or overwhelm Takoi at his work place. We all know that man is crazy for Takoi so I think after kissing on him the night before, this was just Shiono's way of keeping cool enough not to attack his man in front of his (Shiono's) new colleagues and brother-in-law😂😂 As for whether he stayed the night, I really don't know. The way he is about Takoi makes me believe that he really did travel 2 hours back home that night because he's totally whipped and would make that effort just to have a drink with his man😏

It's solid in my opinion. I'm only on ep5 so far but I like the plot and the chemistry so far between the leads is🤌 I 100% recommend for sure!!
