Title My Sweet Mobster Spoiler
I like it. It's interesting. Especially the comedic element. The romance was okay too.

Side characters were interesting too, not just organic. They were entertaining and given enough screen time.

ML acting is okay, I also liked how he could easily switch from my serious to childish in seconds, lol. His lack of sexual education was not attractive though. I'm talking about when he was obsessing with the FL's lips, avoiding her touches cause it turns him on but he doesn't know WHY🙄 Seems like K-writers find it cute to write sexually innocently naive characters.

FL was okay too, not annoying. Supportive. Although I don't understand why most Kdrama characters have obsessions with childhood crushes and connection, that was 20+ years ago mehn. I don't even remember when I was below 10yrs😭

I liked PJC in semantic error but his role here was bland, and his acting...
I wasn't a fan of the SML from the beginning, he was annoying. But he was okay towards the end. Thankfully, they got rid of that triangle quickly.

There were some parts not fully explored in the drama but it's okay. Good comedy, good acting.
On Dreaming of a Freaking Fairytale Jan 25, 2025
The first half was fun, silly and ridiculous. Especially with some cringe acts from the FL. It was really funny😂 Kudos to the editors especially.
The second half kinda swayed towards the serious side and I don't think the angst in EP 9 was necessary.
In conclusion, it's a fun drama not to be taken seriously because it lacks logic in some parts and it's satirical. Good acting too.
On Han River Police Jan 24, 2025
Well, it's just an okay drama with basic characters, nothing much. And not so realistic on the action scenes square off.
Good acting though.

Title A Time Called You Spoiler
I think one thing about time travelling drama is that, they'll end up confusing me. Might be my brain or their logic fault, but if I think I understand the timeline logic, I'll end up getting confused later on.

In summary, all what caused these was LOVE. Love made her go back. Love made him come future. I don't know who exactly started it; Siheon or Junhee. But if they weren't obsessed about the past, all that wouldn't have happened.

I don't understand why there was a Siheon and Yeonjun at the same timeline.
I don't understand why Junhee told CY about the time travelling, it wasn't necessary and could have prevented alot.
I also don't understand how they were able to go back at the past if the tape was burnt.
I don't understand many things. It was simple at the start but then got complicated.

Ep 8,9-10 was somehow weird too.
The gay subplot in Ep8 was totally unnecessary and didn't interest me. Looks like a queerbait.

The lost and found romance and the whole missing love in EP 10 was begining to look superficial and the romance at that point seems out of place. Something was missing there.

Cha Ingyu as a friend was selfish to me. Misunderstanding and even willing to break up his friendship for love. He was pathetic and insecure. However, I think they adjusted his character in the later episodes.

It was also interesting to see MinJun trying to give up her life because of love. Dunno if to call that stupidity or something else.

The acting was excellent, JYB was specially impressive. They all did well though.
And contrary to others, I actually liked the ending, it was befitting. Although, the whole drama left me feeling kinda unsatisfied. It was good though.

One thing I won't understand is, why did the events (past and future) happened if it was made to never happen at all?

Oh, also! The subtitles of netflix was horrible. I had to rely on my years accumulated knowledge of Korean language to know that what the subtitles were saying wasn't exact and accurate. Thankfully, I had some basic knowledge of the language. If not, it was extremely misleading most of times.

Title Officer Black Belt Spoiler
It's okay. However, why's it tagged comedy? Fun at first but then got disturbing and triggering. Releasing a hardcore rapist with 15 victims back into the society is one sick law move bro.
The group of friends are smart. However, what happened to calling and dispatching police as backups? Also wondering if just anyone without formal training is allowed to do what the ML did in the force?
Good acting and cinematography.
On A Shop for Killers Jan 20, 2025
I like it. The thriller, suspense and action, I think it was well done. Cinematography, directing, ost, action sequence, all excellent too. Interesting characters too. Jian is one fvcking smart lady; infact, almost all the characters were, villians included. Although, I was specially proud of her. Jeong Jingman, Pansin, Brother, Minhye, Honda, all good.
I'm wondering how the organisation knew about Minhye and her skills though. Considering how they didn't know her identity years back and I don't think she went around killing people for them to know her skills?
Bale is one mf psychopath bastard though.
Also, their type of lifestyle is too complicated to live, lol.
Anyways, it was a good watch. Excellent acting too.
On So I Married the Anti-Fan Jan 18, 2025
LGY: Do I look like I'm a pushover??
Me: Yes ma'am.

I liked this at the beginning, even though I found some situation ridiculous, it's just that drama that's not really excellent and logical but fun and you wanna watch it till the end. However, it got more stupidly frustrating.

Let me complain about things in no particular order.

I know the show premise started with the antifan reality show but in that situation? Except for her needing money, I don't know why she had to keep up with so many bullshit.

The very loyal fan coming in that house was so scary, why did they end up making it like an embracing delinquents situation?

The FL kept on making sorry situations, people using her to her advantage, being bullied and she being a speechless dumbass going around making peace and seeing the good in everyone, it's just soooo
Because why do you give your work laptop so carelessly? Apparently, she haven't learnt from other situations.
The FL self depreciating acts was frustrating to watch. I don't think she has self respect, tbh. Sassy FL who? More like a pushover.

And all these would have been avoided if the magazine company boss explained from the beginning.

I found JJ's character cute at first, but then he just became outright annoying, a jerk stuck in the past unnecessarily. A stupid idiot.
Inyoung too, that one was there being
pathetic and creating dramatic situations. They were both so miserable.

And let me not talk about how the characters on sick bed have perfectly flawless face with make-up on, can't even make being sick realistic?

CTJ was busy being almost expressionless in this drama. Whenever WhooJon is being sad, disappointed, angry, surprised, he has same expressions with that smily baby-face. His acting is really 👎

I can see the FL attempts on the chemistry aspect but the ML really ain't giving no chemistry. His love and everything looks superficial. The makeup and wardrobe also made the ML younger and the FL older which is unbalanced, considering their age in this drama.

Apparently, WJ is a 'universal star' but the representation of that in the drama is not giving that level. A moderate company, just one assistant serving as driver too, no aura of a star, just some jobless teenage fan sticking around everywhere. An average celebrity could do, universal star who?

This drama could have do with 122, 13 episodes but they kept on dragging issues and creating unnecessary situations. I had to play on X2 with the later episodes.

In conclusion, no likeable characters. Was fun at the beginning but got annoying. Plenty illogical situations. Stupid characters. Poor chemistry. And bad acting from the ML.

- Skipping the scenes for me personally does not make sense, among the most enjoyable things. The way they showed…
It's a late one, but if skipping some people's scenes would make a drama better, I'll do that. Cause I find them uninteresting and definitely not one of the healthiest but that's my personal opinion, just like you have yours, it doesn't have to make sense to you😊

Title Stock Struck Spoiler
It was fun.

Although I still can't get over how the FL stupidly invested in that first episode, lol. I'd break up if it were me too. I don't know why they had to bring back the ex character and make him a douchebag.

As for the romance, I honestly can't understand the whole sudden love confession with the parent, it was cringe and insincere cause these two didn't even know each other like that, lol. And I don't think they have chemistry like that...

I don't think Veronica is wrong with schooling Kangsan. I don't know how SK financial living is and not to be discriminatory but do their citizens have so much reliance and live on loan or what? How can they buy so much stock and live freely with no solid income??

YOLO is not bad too, but I think you should only do that when you know you have a backup plan or at least a self sufficient income.
Anyways, to each their own.

I'm not against stocking but in this, they were getting too obsessed it was starting to be weird, dunno if that's how the traders there are though. I invest but I don't go too deeply like that. I need to have deposits to even be able to invest with loan being out of the option, we're talking risks here 😂

And the last episode stocking recruits was starting to look like a cult with them meeting the kid too, knowing his background.
Anyways, It it all worked out.

I also tried to understand the epilogues, but my brain couldn't 😂

I don't know if this drama is trying to encourage us to invest, but with the characters being impulsive, obsessive and almost living solely for investment with no exact solid source of income, I don't think it was a successful lure on my part 😊

For me, it was fun at the beginning but then kinda watered down in the later episodes. Good acting. And an alright story. It was okay. The mini imagination series were funny too😂
Sigh. That was sad.

They were both victims, although Do Shinwoo could have done better. I understood him cause timing wasn't always on his side but still... He was in denial till the end. This was all the adults faults, their mom's especially.
Felt so bad for Eunchang, practically lived for his brother, but maybe that was also the problem.

Good acting from most of the characters. However, I don't think the ML plays two different characters well, because we should be able to tell two characters differently even if they're identical twins. You may know just from their aura difference. But the two that played the ML here wasn't perfect in that.

Also, why did Shinwoo smirked at that bully in the class? I was thinking it was Eunchang and I don't know why he actually did that. I just had a wild theory, what if Shinwoo was pretending to be naive and helpless when they were young so as to attract his brother's attentions??

Although, it could have been shorter, it was a good watch. A package of unfortunate luck 🙂

From the first few episodes watched, I can sense the direction this drama is going. Don't wanna sit through a journey of simpy stupid men and insufferable, hypocritical and selfish women tagged as badass just because they're ambitious but with the unlikable qualities. Watched too many dramas with unlikable characters recently😑
I may be wrong with my assessment but that's what I could see for now and it sure ain't encouraging me to go ahead.
Not gonna rate it but Dropped.

I have a few questions.
The culprit in episode 1&2, how did he know the details of James life? Like the people he lost and is finding, why did he choose him still?
2. Who's really the one James is looking for??
3. Why does he usually refer to them killing his brother only instead and not all his family?
4. Who was on the autopsy table in the last few scenes?
5. Is the detective's wife still alive or not?

It's a good thriller. Interesting cases. Good acting too. Although the ending was sad.
