Oh I thought I was the only one experiencing that madness, like if they don’t have the copyrights who will have…
It just went down again. I have no idea what they're doing. Maybe the screw it up when they release ANOTHER video to free. But this should be the last time. =/
Glad I am not the only one with this issue. I hope they resolve it soonFor people using the app with Amazon Fire.…
I don't know that app, so I can't specifically say. But with YouTube, say they hard subbed, you can just click the CC and turn it off that way to disable the soft subs.
Just saw the same thing. I guess if we want to rewatch we can use dramacool. 🤷🏻♀️But I sent them…
Hope so. They definitely messed it up when they went to release the next 2 episodes to the "Free" crowd. The fact that some of them are there and in random order speaks to that. Whoever is doing their data coding for the platform truly screwed up today. =/
Kinda pissed. WeTV has screwed up the videos for this on their main English platform. Late last night when I was watching Ep 17, all-of-a-sudden it said "...we don't have copyright..." and all the videos were no longer available to me. I bitched to their twitter acct about it, but today the only episodes showing available to watch at all are, in this freaking random order: 05, 02, 11, 28, 01, 24... Like WTF? It's the first day to open up ALL the episodes for free viewers and the screw us up like this.
Yes, I've watched the whole thing, but I watched it on a different platform. How do they expect to get my viewership on their platform if they don't offer it to me?
Maybe you prefer dramas with lots of break ups, amnesia, love triangles, and people that hate your couple: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EJAW3XlJ8WU I prefer mine where the couple gets together, stays together, and everyone loves them 💑👬
Maybe you prefer dramas that focus on other things besides your couple: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JsHaL4B-3No I prefer mine to focus solely on my couple, all their mature & steamy kisses that push the edge of censorship, with all their sexy talk.
Yes. This was how it ‘s supposed to convey when I read the novel. You’re able to put it in such great detail…
Thanks. I just write things in the moment when I'm excited and inspired after watching it. Ahhh.. to go back and do this though would feel a bit like a chore though, wouldn't it. lol. The calculating the game time was time consuming enough. lol... I'm actually rewatching it because I'm gonna fill in the times for the episodes I haven't done yet, but I wanted to start from Ep. 1 because, I just love this drama. =)
Can't remember how many times I've done this now, because I wasn't keeping count, but know it's more than 3x, but I started rewatching this again. Each time I come away with a bit more of the story I missed by focus on 1 thing or another, or simply just reading subtitles.
I'm at episode 7, I had already posted to my friends feed the map to show and explain the distance that Yu Tu had to travel to see QJJ everyday, but also where the restaurant they went to fell on the map and the fact that *afterwards*, instead of going to KTV with his co-workers he opts to go back to QJJ and take her to the movies ~ essentially a Date Night on Single's Day. [For those on my Friend's List you can refresh your memory here under the spoiler tag: https://kisskh.at/profile/Amastris/feeds/x7Zd2Tl]
BUT, watching it again now, with a different mindset, I got a bit more out of than merely the distance traveled because I was more focused on the "Guan Zai might get divorced ~ Single's Day" aspect.
On the day off QJJ asks for, in Ep6, because she has a performance to do, you see Yu Tu is extremely "BORED" but doesn't want to go out with partying with friends. He's dragging himself around reading old aeronautical books he's probably read multiple times. His heart is breaking thinking he has to give it up. He's invited to dinner by Ren Wang who wants to discuss "aerospace materials" with him. This makes him both happy and breaks his heart. These are the things he loves to study, research, discuss, and think about ~ anything Aerospace.
On Single's Day, set aside the "single's talk", Hu Kehang tells him he read this foreign paper on aerospace that "inspired" him and he wanted to "discuss" it with Yu Tu. But then Meng Anyu tells HK that they can't discuss this stuff anymore because it's Top Secret and he's not going to be with CATC any longer which means he's on the OUTSIDE and can't know any PRIVILEGED information any longer. Watching Yu Tu's reaction to that was devastating. He stops eating and starts drinking. Pondering the idea of that all dinner long, while knowing that even if these guys ever have time to invite him to dinner again, it's not gonna be the same. They won't be able to freely talk about ALL the things Yu Tu loves!! He's going to be further isolated.
Mainly, he only gets along with a handful of the people in the industry he's planning to enter. We see it during the dinner for "Panicky". They talk about how he was never hanging out with anyone in the Finance Dept unless it was for sports ~ we know the only reason is because Ren Wang wanted the girls to come ~ but spent his time with the aerospace students and in the library. So, realistically, only the guys he plays "King of Glory" with, 'Sandbag', 'Dragon King', & 'Panicky', plus Ren Wang are the only guys he still talks with from Finance, and all the others treat him like shit because they're jealous of him. None of the main 3 guys will be his co-workers because they're either execs of other companies, or moving away, like "Panicky". He's essentially not gonna have his aerospace friends, none of his close friends from Finance to hang with and talk to, and he doesn't enjoy Finance, and that's all that will be left for him.. =/
So, when he's depressed thinking about all of these things, and just feeling dejected so he plans to take of and likely do what he's been doing, 'drinking water on his balcony', or lying on his couch with his hands over his eyes, when he's about to get on that subway to go home... what does he opt to do instead????
Go to where he feels GOOD. Go to someone, the ONLY ONE who really understands him. Go to the person who is ISOLATED as well and can't play outside. Go to someone who takes his mind off of all things depression thoughts and worries. Go to where he can just be himself without having to answer for every decision he may or may not make. ~~It really is MORE powerful when you fully understand the DISTANCE he had to travel to go to her~~ And what does he opt to suggest to do with her?????
TAKE HER TO THE MOVIES!! Get her outside and no longer isolated. FULFIL HER WISH BEFORE HE TOOK OFF.
THIS... this is the moment he starts to realize he has feelings for her even if he doesn't realize how deep those feelings are yet.... taking her to the movies, at this point, is already crossing that line between friendship and more.
Tell me ... how many of you realised why Yu Tu nick himself as Jade Rabbit? And why QJJ made the famous sentence…
19 days ago I wrote a post that explains the entire thing.
I also included the reason why, even if you think it's boring, you should watch what Yu Tu and his co-workers are doing with the rover. I explain here why their focus on the rovers movement up hills, etc is so pertinent to Yu Tu's story.
I understand your hyper, however everything was scripted by Gu Man, don't be too carried away no matter how sweet…
You know, tbh, I got that vibe actually. lol.
He did say she inspired him in the interview they had of the two during their filming at the hotel Diamond Event while they were still dressed in the outfits they wore for that iconic garage scene. lol. It's this interview that's used a lot to compare them with HyunBin/YeJin Cp. lol
Although I did get the vibe/feeling he was a bit hurt by Reba's words about him though.
They were both asked the Q "How did it feel to work together this time?" Reba is the 1st to answer and refers to Yang Yang as "Teacher Yang" to which he purposefully stops her and tells her not to call him that. She goes on to say she's watched his past clips of him which gave her the impression that he's more of an introvert, not talkative, and quiet. But working with him she realizes he's the exact opposite irl. **which makes YY turn his head and give her his 'that's not right look' he gives when he does his variety shows. If she were a guy, he'd probably bark at her. lol.
But the part he looked hurt was when she kept going on saying he gets easily amused and when something is obviously funny he goes overboard and laughs really crazy. [We've ALL seen the crazy YY laugh...} and he just looked reflective like, '...the impression I give her is this silly boy who laughs too easily and loud at every silly thing??...' It's definitely her giving the impression she thinks he's just a big kid. Even if she cleaned it up with "he's lively, and bright".. There was definitely a disconnect at that moment, and I think he expected more from her response. He was QUIET and not lively at that moment. You can see he's discomfort of her description in the movements of his mouth.
But, regardless, he still thoughtfully responded after her that he called her "cute". Then he says that she'll give sudden very inspirational reactions during filming. When that happens it will make him approach the scene differently and he feels like it improved his acting at those times.
That's why I find how many people said YY was "whipped" by Reba during the 'Happy Camp' episode really funny. Tbh, I think that's more the vibe I get. Whether their ship is sailing or not. Whether Reba is into him or not. It certainly looks 100% like YY is into Reba.. and if they didn't at least have a fling during filming, which I think is more the possibility than them actually be 100% together.. I'm sure that YY was trying to pursue her, and if she wasn't receptive, he was certainly going to take advantage of filming this drama with her, despite it all. LMFAO. ;)
I understand what you mean.. As a YangReba shipper, I'm happy reading your analysis.. I read some posts in ig…
Yeah.. I know that.. I saw that they were hesitate and a bit nervous to start off that particular kiss in the bts, but by the end, they were into it.
But, I've seen this happen before with actors where there's nothing going on between them, it's just that they've been doing it for a bit w/a few "NG"s that they're more apt to take a few more sec to release just in case so that the director will have more footage to splice and cut together for the edited version. Yeah, I liked that they finally let their hair down for that kiss...because the first few were questionable, and the end result of that kiss was pretty dang good... even if they still had to use the slo-mo for it...but I didn't particularly look at it and go ".. oh boy, let me ship.." they must be a thing... Not that THIS particular 1 I'm talking about did that either..
It's just that, like you said, it was 2-fold -- 1) they were really into that kiss in a real sort of way & 2) it wasn't necessarily a kiss that they NEEDED to be really into, say, like the one at the KTV, or school, or boat.. etc... and tbh, this random balcony kiss is just as hot as the bedroom kisses. You know what I mean??? lol. ;)
I understand what you mean.. As a YangReba shipper, I'm happy reading your analysis.. I read some posts in ig…
Yeah, I totally was hearing this part..BUT.. I just brushed it aside, w/e, they we're doing the kiss scene, they have height difference, and the location is cramped and not easy to maneuver. I didn't give that much thought... Yet, in the last couple days, the NEW analysis of the **start** of the kiss is what caught me up... He just looked like a man on a mission. No hesitation. No shyness. Not even waiting for her to prep for it. Just dove in and started going at it. lol. ~~After seeing that loop, that forces you to pay attention to YY's eyes and demeanor...and how shocked Reba was at the start, it just gives a different vibe. It looks like YY is totally into and WANTS to kiss no matter what. It freaking felt real... I mean, not acted real...but real, real.. Like an opportunity to BE REAL in that moment kinda real.. LMFAO!
I have to disagree with her about the MLs not being natural in scenes together. I always felt like they were natural…
NO! I totally agree with you and disagree with her. I think you're right. The fact that she squeals about all their skinship and goes on and on about how natural they are and how detailed every hand movement and physical interaction is that makes the romance look REAL, and that this is why it doesn't come across as ARTIFICAL SWEETNER, as she puts it, and that it also doesn't make her cringe...that it's not annoying or overdone means the EXACT OPPOSITE of what she's saying.
That's what's so funny and ridiculous about her initial points on how their acting doesn't measure up and when they're together they 'are over conscious' of each other and not as NATURAL as they are when with other cast in the drama. It's like talking out of both sides of your mouth. Either they're able to convince you about their romantic love, which she says they did, and can act those parts, or you cannot, and there's no chemistry and this whole thing falls apart because, in essence, that's what this ENTIRE drama is about... It's not about the other CAST members. It's solely about THEM. There's no secondary couple, triangles, diversions, etc. The story is literally a story about them and they are the FULL FOCUS of this entire drama. If they weren't comfortable acting together, this drama, by god, wouldn't be rated an 8.8!! It'd be under a 7.0 because, again, they're the only thing this drama is focused on. hahaha LOL!
I understand your hyper, however everything was scripted by Gu Man, don't be too carried away no matter how sweet…
Uhm.. no EVERYTHING is not scripted. Or Yang Yang's scene he directed at the bus stop where QJJ's poster light goes out wouldn't have been included and would have been part of Gu Man's script and novel.
There are multiple scenes, you know from watching the bts, that BOTH actors had a SAY in what and how it played out. Whether it was included or not was completely up to the DIRECTOR not even Gu Man.
1 example of this kind of discussion is with Dilraba during the scene at the school after KTV referred to as the "BDS Scene". Reba's supposed to show some kind of aegyo reaction to Yu Tu after he tells her "Baidu-Search it yourself"
That part was Marked Up by a discussion between the actors and the director. In particular, Reba wanted to squat down to the ground afterwards because she said it'd look cute. YangYang didn't have any particular ideas other than it felt awkward that she was suddenly not in eye contact height. Director agreed. Ultimately, after much discussion, the Director said just drop his hand and stop. In the actual edited version, her dropping his hand isn't even really highlighted.
Here is a compilation of various scenes where Yang Yang is literally DIRECTING the DIRECTOR on what he wants to do and HOW he wants him to FILM the scene. [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lYHd4nJl--g]
I've said it from the very beginning, so don't anyone be fools about this either--
BOTH ACTORS had a LOT of say in how the scenes were eventually acted out and the scriptwriter was on location as well to discuss things. But there were MANY times that what was written was not ALWAYS the way it went to film. You can see, during the BTS of the steamy "Map" kiss when they're blocking how Yang Yang will carry Reba to the bedroom that YangYang even said that there was TOO MUCH TALKING during that scene, he just wanted to kiss and go to the room -- then Gu Man came in from the other side of the door with an attitude -- YOU'RE NOT CUTTING MY DIALOGUE --
It was a collaborative effort from them all and YES, the actors had a say in various segment. How else to you explain the Director editing in a PRANK where Yang Yang scares Reba when they're not really in character ready to film? That was a blocking segment as well... but it turned out so good that he kept it.
So no, I'm not being too carried away or hyper. I was explaining how this made me second guess something I saw that seemed like no biggie to me at first.

So no, I'm not being too carried away or hyper. I was explaining how this made me second guess something I saw that seemed like no biggie to me at first.
