Female lead: Once I commit to a relationship I am committed for life.
Also the female lead: Jk I'm gonna date two guys at once!
Giving this one more episode to improve otherwise it's time to bid this drama adieu.

"Never ending staring contest" lololol! Oh my, thanks for the laugh. I found this drama super boring and dropped it right after they got together, but while I was watching it I thought the looooooong slow mo staring scenes were ridiculously long. It's ok when they do it a couple times in a drama, but they did it all the time and for way too long that it was almost a parody.

Also, I hate to be that person, but...It's so obvious that the writer is a man as it seems that he thinks women…
You're not alone. While I was watching episode 7 I was thinking, "Oh, this female lead was definitely written by a man." Then I came here just to check and see and lo and behold...

This love triangle is just plain stupid. Also not impressed with how they are writing this female lead's character atm. It might be slightly more tolerable if the second lead was likeable but good lord there is something about him... he always has this smarmy smirk on his face that rubs me the wrong way.

So far this show has really given me all the feels. I wasn't expecting it when I started this drama, but I am here for it! I’ve smiled, I’ve cried and I feel like there are many tears that will be shed in future episodes.

istg... if they want a second leas make him good at least...
For real! I feel like his only purpose is to annoy me atm. Sir, the ship has sailed and you are not it.

This is exactly how I felt about this drama as well! I think it would have been so much better if her character wasn't so extremely hyper fixated on the male lead for the entirety of the drama. Both the leads were terrible friends. In real life I would steer clear of "friends" like them. They would have zero problem flirting w/your significant other, dating them behind your back, and then fully expect you to still be their friends. The poor second leads were way too nice to those two, but maybe I'm just petty lol.

I love men in uniform which is the main reason I liked CLOY. So I searched for other military dramas and got Descendants…
I didn't like DOTS and so far I like You Are My Hero quite a bit.

That is one of my favorite scene too but I can't make a gif of it for the article or readers who haven't watched…
I had no idea that dating in high school was discouraged. So so many school Cdramas make so much more sense now. I always wondered why they never (the ones I've seen anyways) get together until college lol.

did you try Hello me? It's pretty good
I have it on my plan to watch list but I didn't know there was romance because apparently I'm too lazy to read the genre tags lol. Thanks for the recommendation :)

Very interesting article, thank you for the good read :) Their relationship really did make this drama stand out in the vast sea of school romance Cdramas. I thought it was really refreshing to see a male lead that was so respectful of the female lead, like you said. I loved the scene when the second lead says, "I've been protecting her for so long" and the male lead responds, "She isn't a girl who needs protection. Do you understand? She pursues freedom." Really a beautiful line that demonstrates how he respects her as her own person. It always warms my heart when a drama with a healthy relationship comes along.

I've been in the mood for a good rom com lately and nothing has been doing it for me. I hope this one fits the bill! Loved Nana in Into the Ring so I am excited to see her again too!
