I'm not a big fan of Simon Gong, but I thought I'd try this drama because I've seen good reviews and comments about it. There was even a review somewhere from a psychologist who said it was well done. But right away, first ep I'm questioning all that.
First of all why in the world would they hire a women who came in off the street with no background in psychology and who lied about who she was?
Second, why does the ML not lock his office when he leaves or at least lock the door to his pasword-protected files? What kind of a professional is he?
I really dislike when characters do stupid things just to advance the plot. There has to be a better way to tell your story.
She didn't really explain why she needed to lose weight for this role. She could easily play a victim of starvation at her normal weight. When I see actresses with thighs like sticks in a drama I'm always wondering why people think that looks good.
I've read that the camera adds ten pounds and if that's true I cannot imagine what she looks like in person. When did healthy-looking people get replaced with emaciated skeletons? And why is that even a beauty standard?
Let’s be precise, because this discussion keeps confusing allegation, administrative procedure, and criminal…
Thank you. I know nothing about Korean tax law so your comment was a good education for me. I hope for the best for Cha Eun Woo, because I hate to think a young person with a good reputation and everything going for him would throw it all away to avoid paying taxes.
I like watching jiejie romance but this was not good. Someone told the director that modern girls love to ruin…
Thank you for putting your thoughts here. You've saved me time. I dislike smoking no matter who's doing it and I really dislike when someone has done something wrong and they blame someone else when they are called out. I was only watching this for Wang Nan and I didn't particularly like the first few minutes so not going to bother.
I don't disagree that fans (although I think it's more general public than most fans) in S Korea can be the worst, but in this case it's not the fans but the government investigating. And if Cha Eun Woo illegally tried to pay less tax than he was supposed to then it's his/his mother's fault.
So if he wasn’t the one they after why is his name snd his face being posted in every post 🙄 its just they…
My understanding is that they were investigating Namgung Gyeon, chairman of Mirae ING, which owns Fantagio and Cha Eun Woo and his mother allegedly had a paper company between them and Fantagio in order to shield money from taxes. So in investigating one person they found another person doing something illegal (if it's proved to be illegal).
What is with the ending? I wanted to start this drama but with you writing something like that makes me question…
I watched a few eps and then FF through most of it. At the end it seemed like there was a scene out of order and then it abruptly ended so I'm not sure if I missed something. The picture quality was also a little blurry. Not a very satisfying watch.
ohhh thanks for letting me know but how to use it??
In case you haven't gotten to it yet, download Shazam on one device, play the movie on another. When the song comes on click on the button to start on Shazam. When it recognizes the song it will tell you the title and link to Spotify. You can play it there if you have it. I don't so I just look up the song on YouTube. It doesn't always recognize the song, but I've had pretty good luck in finding a lot of songs I like from dramas.
This was so good. I was really hoping it would go the direction it did.
I just couldn't bear to see Shen Hao Nan having a hidden killer personality. I have to say that the motive for his brother killing was pretty thin. How did the brother know that Jiang Yan Bai had forgotten about him if he never contacted him? But separating twins has to be one of the most despicable things to do in an adoption. For that matter separating any siblings is despicable. Better they live together in an orphanage than be adopted out to different families.
Hope there's a S2 because hope springs eternal even though I doubt it will happen.
