After seeing such kdramas, I sometimes wonder on the possibility of the majority of congressmen / ministries are really so corrupted and monstrously greedy for wealth and power... like the 11th president....

but i think the turning point for him, if any, would be the young Yeon A.

IMO his mind is fixed on him being a faithful son to the monstrous woman and believe she'll never ever abandon him.
