I would like to thank the director for giving us the bath scene in episode 11. My eyes have been blessed. 😍

We’re so fortunate that Zang Hai has a scar on his back. 🤭

Episodes 9 & 10 blew me away! That scene in episode 9 with Zang Hai discovering the perverted Marquis “treasures” made me sick to my stomach. Poor Zang Hai. 😭
Then episode 10 had me at the edge of my seat during the incense scene. I was so nervous for Zang Hai I was freaking out. Lol. So many things are happening and we still haven’t met many key players. This drama is exceeding all my expectations. So good!

The Youth Memories is Xiao Zhan’s best drama. I’ve watched it multiple times. Xiao Zhan gives a master class in acting. The drama itself shows 30+ years of his characters life portrayed by Xiao Zhan. I HIGHLY recommend. It’s completely different from Legend of Zang Hai. And it shows Xiao Zhan’s incredible versatility.

And who would do the acting?

I'm the type of drama watcher that likes to see the lead character challenged. So, I want Zang Hai to win but I also want to see him experience a couple defeats and to stumble along the way. Right now, he has a major win, but I expect him to suffer in the future episodes. The Marquis is not a fool and I'm sure he doesn't trust Zang Hai whatsoever. I'm excited to see how this will play out. Especially because I think Zang Hai will have more enemies we haven't even met yet.

He gets his first revenge in episode 7.

Episodes 7 and 8 were phenomenal. It just keeps getting better with each episode. Episode 7 made me cry and Episode 8 had me at the edge of my seat. Zang Hai is really in the lion's den now. But I'm glad we got to see him make the first fatal move against those evil men. Xiao Zhan really gave a masterclass performance today. So excited to see him bring it.

Why are the MDL mods allowing people to down rate episodes that haven’t even aired yet? This is ridiculous. MDL really can’t be trusted in any capacity. How unfortunate.

Excited for episode 7. Can’t wait to see how Zang Hai makes it out.

Xiao Zhan has been the top flow since The Untamed. Unfortunately that brings a lot of haters from rival fandoms who are bitter because their fave actors are unable to surpass him.

He’s not close to any of them though? They’re all conniving behind his back. He hasn’t met the emperor and has had few interactions so far with the Marquis who has used him as a disposable tool.

Nothing about my comment is crazy. And the casting is perfect. The drama literally wouldn’t have gotten made without this male lead.

Looks like in episodes 7/8 Zang Hai will have his first major win. 🔥

The mother is on the younger side because the character is introduced when he’s a child. What’s confusing about that? Do you know what acting is?

I don’t know about y’all. But I want a full course meal in revenge not fast food. I’m so happy with the pacing in this drama. The director and screen writer have done a phenomenal job.
