what about the fact that her father killed his lover and then forced him to marry her. as far as i can tell from what we've seen they hardly spend time together. i'm not promoting cheating but context matter, no?

marriage at it's basics is a contract. if your are threatened into a contract, isn't there something morally questionable about it as cheating? both need to be weighed in the context of the story.

in any, i think the story will punish the cheater in someway as always and they are teasing a love line between the wife and the subordinate. though, i can't see that blossoming because then she wouldn't be the scandalized maiden. i'd welcome but would be surprised if they treated the characters with kindness at the end.

This is a beautifully conceived project. I hope it remains as elevated until the end.

Was she not a real lawyer when she was a rookie lawyer? there are so many other available aadjectives. It's been about a decade since I've seen one of these descriptions when it comes to fl and their profession vs the ml and theirs. end of rant.

Another shitty plotline molded after hua qian gu. These stories are such a mind f. I'm going to bend your will to mine so I'm gonna seduce, manipulate, coerce you -- another adult-- to do my bidding because I have a saviour complex that I can't think outside of. My savior complex pushes you to do the very thing I'm trying to force you to not do. I can't believe on top of this there is this forcing the other person into the relatioinship. I made it thought to ep 7 but this and relying heavily on the miscommunication trope made eme want to throw something at my screen by ep 6. I want the person who recommended this as better to give me my time back lol.

Not a problem. One option could have been to make a less spoilery comment that points to question that would be put under spoiler tag. that way, people have option to see the spoileer or scroll on by.
