Honestly, I have no expectations from this, but we'll see. Seo In-guk does the best when he's in tvN dramas.
Same here....I have no expectations for this drama either. If it had other leads I probably wouldn't even watch, but because of Seo In Guk and also this is Nam Ji -Hyun's first leading role - I have to at least check it out!
No, it's based on a web novel (with illustrations) by the same name. It does involve real history and people in it but I think it will have other twists and turns within the story.
Oh my god, that cliffhanger! What a good cliffhanger to end on....like everyone says, now the real story starts! Looking forward to this more and more each week! ❤
I wonder why this very important scene was cut out from episode 8. Their conversation and emotions after the makeup…
I wonder how the actors would feel seeing their efforts were cut out. I'm sure there were heaps of scenes they filmed that were not included. This situation with preproduced dramas kind of reminds me of Cheese In the Trap. What happened with that drama left a negative impression on me. Well, in any case I'm actually thankful they released the cut version/re-edited version and continue to do so! I'm looking forward to the kiss scene tonight I guess :)

Yeah I checked, the SBS subbed 1-8 versions are on KissAsian. I have not watched episode 1-8 yet on there but episode 8 is subbed but not completed. You can tell which one is the SBS version because they have their own logo on the top right. I'm not sure if they sub the cut scenes too but apparently it has subs.

I feel like I prefer the SBS version. So annoyed that they cut that vital scene though. Where can I watch the subbed SBS versions? I find it annoying that they had to re-edit because the previous job wasn't good enough. I watch all my dramas on HDfree.se and only recently they added the re-edited episodes 1-8 as raw alongside the original version. There are no subs for the second version yet.
Update: found the SBS versions on KissAsian. They're slower when releasing subs but I guess...worth the wait?
I really can't believe that female lead has not still fallen for the 4th prince and like the 8th one. I mean the…
I'm actually looking forward to seeing this unfold too! I won't spoil the original for you, but I do feel like Wang So's relationship with her is a lot more meaningful compared to Wook. I've been rooting for Wang So since the beginning and maybe I'm bias but I feel they both have more of a connection on a deeper level.
That moment when she realized 4th Prince is the future king Gwangjong..GOOSEBUMPS.
I know right, and could she be the reason for him becoming the future King? He now has his confidence back because she covered his scar and insecurities. Wang So is supposed to end up killing his brothers later on...so I'm preparing myself for a more darker side to Wang So in the coming episodes.
Guys.... Moon Lovers isn't tagged as tragedy, only as a melodrama........ THERE'S HOPE!!!!!!!!! *goes and cries…
If that's the case then I have a strong feeling we're headed for a reincarnation ending. Hae Soo will return to the present with her past memories intact and meets the present reincarnated Wang So. My version of this happy ending is to have him remember her from his dreams of his past life? Similar to Snow Lotus - that 2 episodes drama had the leads in the present having dreams of their past life and ended up meeting each other again. The one thing I find suspicious is the Astronomer guy...I feel like he knows of Hae Soo's situation and that he's also from the present that got time warped back. Or maybe he's from the past the came to the present to look for Hae Soo and ensure that history runs its course...

Your comment made curious so I checked out the original plot...argh it's a tragic love story! I hate tragedies so I'm hoping this version doesn't go there, i don't think I'll be able to handle a sad ending otherwise!! *Goes to cry in the corner now*
There's still hope for kdramas to end happily! They must!!! lol
I got really curious of how the original Scarlet Heart ended so I looked it up and read the plot summary...argh I wouldn't recommend doing this to other people! Hoping this adaption doesn't follow too closely to the original..
That sign language scene was so romantic! I'm amazed at Bogummy's ability to act without words!! He reminds me of Song Joong Ki in A Werewolf Boy being able to convey so much emotions, so seamlessly without any words and it's written in his face so clearly. I'm preparing myself for some angst coming up soon!
