“If you love something, set it free. If it comes back, it’s yours. If not, it was never meant to be.” = holy scripture . So true , like Sting sang in "If You Love Somebody Set Them Free", and that to me is the proper definition of Love in contrast with Possession.
Nice! i think they both have exquisite comic timing, at least this is what i appreciate the most when i look at their previous works in comedies. But, as always, everything depends on how good the script will be... let's hope nothing cheap or re-chewed... and please, write something intelligent and logical avoiding nonsense just to deliver a plot-twist! The audience is not made only by 12 yo pre-teens! LOL thanks a lot ;)
Yeahhh ugh, I'm in EU too and their k-drama repertoire is so bare bones :// I don't understand why some are added…
" While the US gets the K-dramas at the same time as Korea, viewers in the EU have to wait weeks for them to be available", My guess cos they need translations, at least the subs ;) " services like VIKI that rely entirely (!) on volunteering fan-translators are able to release new episodes the day the come out" and i am sorry but viki's subs are awful, to say the least. absolutely unreadable IMHO i followed several dramas there, then i realized how their bad subs completely ruined my view, so i dropped entirely that platform. this is just my personal experience.
Hyung Pil is a sneaky weasel who knows that Sang Su does not love Mi Kyung and he provoked him to acknowledge…
Guys, gotta say that i am struggling, cos i see both of your opposite opinions and i notice super valid points in each of them. i think that is the beauty of this drama: there is no heroes against villans, no black or white, no rightous against sinners ( thank God i'd say LOL). It represents a slice of reality, where everybody has his motives, his right, his goodness and at the same time fails, shows flaws and act cowardly or selfeshly or simply foolishly, Personally, despite its shortcomings (and there is a bunch of them!), i like this series cos it's not the same old fairy tale. At least, i feel the efforts of the writers in creating well-rounded characters. That's why it is do difficult for us viewers to judge or fancy these characters Cheers

I am sorry, I couldn't desagree more. This vison about people that you present above is exactly what i try to fight every single day. it is more or less a definition of racism. Just so you know, "Childhood memories and experiences creates an impact what kind of person one will become" is true for every single human being on the planet. I am totally speecheless for your reply and it does show the worst especially when one is talking about Love. It appears bluntly that you didn'y get the irony and humorism of my post...
:( Well, let's just say then that where there is economy development, usually, the spreading of culture increases big time. And when there's culture people's awareness and the ineer need for a fairer world come along. Everywhere around the world. So, let's hope :)
it's just funny noticing that basically 95% of Kdramas focused on romance follows the exception and not the rule, soooo misguiding for young girls LOL To put it bluntly, the rule is: if he doesn't call you, desn't reach out, doesn't search for you, the simple truth is He's Just Not That Into You! (2009's movie docet) LOL
But it seems evidently that in Korea all the boys and girls suffer of some kind of trauma, memory loss, phobia, panic or personality desorder, PTSD... GEEZ! This way each one of them is the exception, without which kdramas screenwriters wouldn't know a heck on how to write a script LOL
Mi-Gyeong is very manipulative. From the beginning all the way to the very last effort to save the relationship.…
Granted that to me Mi G. is the real nutcase of the series, as i wrote here before, she just need a good therapist for a very long journey... definitely a girl with a personality desorder... i partially agree with you. I don't think she is a bad person, just an ill one. she doesn't know how to love cos she wasn't taught what love is, i guess, so she confuse it with possession and conventionalism in public just to convince herself of being part of something good. she is desperate and clingy cos all that she want is ACCEPTANCE and to be truly loved, but she keeps on failing the right way to achieve those So i don't believe she is just about image and reputation for vanity or self-esteem. but for a terrible search for the sense of belonging. super sad if you think about it
The In the Mood for Love reference just added a whole lot more to ponder about 👀
yes absolutely, u nailed it. that's the key you need to interpretate the whole drama, i think: the struggle on giving up what u really would like, sacrifing your love to benefit others, bearing the pain of the loss by yourself, with no other to share it with if not a hole covered by mud. although, i really hope it won't end this way honestly
The hotel scene will occur at the end of episode 14Once Ml understood that fl and pyung pil was a pact. The confrontation,…
uh i guess you're right and i was wrong, cos checking out their outfits again now, only hers matches the one worn at the hotel room, not his (wearing a white shirt instead of a dark one). so it still has to happen. but i'd say pretty fast, maybe the night following the office fight, cos... man, otherwise she'd end up stinking pretty f bad lol
and that to me is the proper definition of Love in contrast with Possession.
