Hi, Juggler, let me say I am sorry, and I mean it for real, because I don't wanna sound rude or sarcastic to you at all. But maybe I am not getting well your question: are you asking me why I dislike gutter press, yellow press, tabloids and scandal sheets? Is this the question? Or is it why I consider this particular article (as many others here, I must confess) to be "bad press" as the above-mentioned journalistic genres? Let's say it is the latter, I hope :) What I dislike the most in this line of articles is the lack of journalistic ethics, first of all, by giving the wrong idea that it is right and just for people, who don't know anything about a story, a fatc or an event to express their judgements and to point their finger. Especially cos it is not a case that has been objectively documented and/or discussed in a legal court or in a history book, where usually scholars can and must gather all the informations and evidences in order to form a proper opinion: an opinion created with full knowledge of the facts. Something I would call "intelligence" and "common sense". Because when the private and public lives of people are at stake, nobody, who is not fully well-informed, should feel themselves entitled to express their thoughts, especially in a circumstance where respect and a sense of decency should be shown to to dead as to the living. It is usually this kind of article that leads fans or haters to weigh so much more on artists' shoulders. So instead of protecting girls and boys, artists who should not be famous or paid because of their moral status, cos they are not politicians, religious leaders or moral philosophers, but because of their artistic merit and skills, they basically do the opposite: these articles throw young artistic talents to be dissected and make people forget that what should be dissected is the political program of the candidate they are gonna vote for in real life. This kind of content feeds the brutal and obscene vision that the audience's taste, the mass support and the media must have a say not only in the artistic path and choices of an artist, where just this aspect alone would be horrific, but also in their personal life too. Whaaaat?! To me this is inhuman. I guess in many Korean places an artist is confused with a public servant paid by citizens' taxes... And don't get me started with the Socrates' Triple Filter Test based on Truth, Goodness/positivity, Utility...
In few words, I could put it this way: I find immoral to suggest to the public to easily express moral judgments on the false belief that they "could know better" or that an idol, an actor , a singer, a musician or a painter must be a moral model of virtue in order to be great or genial. That role should never be theirs. And most of all, no fan should ever demand that. Every artist can make art only when they are entirely free from external conditioning, otherwise it is no art anymore but more often only an entertaining activity, more or less like the gladiators in the arena who pleased the bloodthirst of the spectators. If that had been the case, I would have never had in my Country the Sistine Chapel, the Divine Comedy, Monalisa, the Royal Palace of Caserta, the Florence Cathedral, La Traviata by Verdi or... Måneskin LOL That's it.
Disclaimer: I sincerely hope it is obvious that naming the Måneskin among our national art treasures was a joke... I mean, I cherish the guys but... they are not, not even close XD

Not at all. i still believe the majority of your societies to be only male dominated and stuck to middle ages. Sorry, that is my opinion, yours is different, okay. For the record , you should learn to read that on all these comments nobody decides anything, everybody just states their opinions, that is all. In Europe we have other scales fortunately and i am very glad of this.
