Not really, it doesn’t always mean he has fewer scenes. Sometimes they just shoot all his parts together because of location or scheduling reasons. It’s pretty common for actors to finish early even if they have plenty of screen time.
Scenes aren’t filmed in sequence — they’re shot based on location, schedule, or budget. So even if Ji Chang Wook finished early, it doesn’t necessarily mean his character dies or leaves early; ending scenes are often filmed first for practical reasons.
What were the writers thinking pairing up a knucklehead like Lei Wu Jie with Ye Ruoyi. Xiao Se and Ye Ruoyi should have been paired with each other. The current pairings make zero sense.
The fl is beyond annoying. She's bratty, liar, manipulative with no good qualities. She actually tried to torture the Ml into pledging allegiance to her.(Imagine if an antagonist did that)

I never said the FL should know every detail — what I’m saying is that she had enough knowledge to anticipate certain events, yet her way of handling them often felt indirect or ineffective, which left Song Mo to repeat the same tragedies. For example, she clearly knew Duke Ding would subdue the pirates and even ran her business according to that future. That proves she was capable of acting on foresight when it came to her own plans, but when it came to Song Mo, she rarely shared or coordinated with him.
And regarding the Duke Ding conspiracy — yes, the seeds of that plot were planted years ago, but the escalation and execution happened during the timeline of the drama. That means her foresight still could have mattered if she had worked together with Song Mo instead of acting alone. She didn’t need every detail to warn him or prepare with him, just like she already showed when she tried to stop him from returning home for his mother’s funeral.
And who said I’m dissatisfied with the drama? I gave it an 8.5, which means I really enjoyed it overall. I only pointed out one thing I didn’t like — that the FL’s rebirth felt underused. Just because I have one critique doesn’t mean I’m dismissing the entire story.

If she sat him down and gradually shared details from it, he would have trusted her much earlier, just like he later proved when he said, “I will believe you.”
As for the claim that she had “no info,” the book may not have given step-by-step details, but it gave clear warnings of what was going to happen. She herself anticipated Song Mo’s poisoning after his mother’s funeral — which is why she sent someone to block him from returning home. That proves she knew danger was coming, yet she chose indirect action instead of explaining the truth to him.
And regarding the idea that “he ignored her advice” — he acted as he pleased because he wasn’t given the full truth. If she had trusted him with all the knowledge she had, rather than vague warnings, he could have acted differently. Her secrecy forced him to walk blindly into the same tragedies all over again.

He still went home, and the result was the same: Song Mo was poisoned.
So despite her rebirth, the ML still endured the exact same core tragedies — losing his uncle, losing his mother, and being poisoned again. That’s why it feels like her second chance was wasted; the major storyline didn’t change, only her own circumstances did.

My main issue wasn’t really about wanting explicit romance. What bothered me was how much focus they gave to the destined-to-be-doomed romance between Jiang Xuening and the 2nd ML. We already knew it wasn’t going to last, yet the show dragged it out for so many episodes. Meanwhile, the main couple barely got enough screen time until the very end. It didn’t need to be full of kissing scenes — even subtle romance would’ve worked, like showing care, warmth, and partnership while facing challenges together (similar to what we see in Blossoms). That kind of gradual build-up would’ve made their bond feel stronger and more natural.
The bastard father of the Ml is forcing me to skip through the episodes, how can someone be so cruel to their own son? I swear he deserves the most gruesome death among all the characters in the series, even more so than the main antagonist.
I hope I never have to come across such an unbearable character in future.
I get your point, but Ji Chang Wook can only give us so many dramas in his career, and as a fan I’d rather see him paired with some of the most beloved leading actresses. Pyo Ye Jin may be a good actress, but she’s mostly known for supporting roles, and after seeing her in those for so long, it’s hard for me to picture her as the leading lady next to my favorite male actor.
