can't wait!

okay i decided to drop when FL started to act jealous and nosy. She's a psychologist who understands how emotions work and how to control them, yet she easily manifest her jealousy in such an obvious manner, without even trying to hide it. She started working for ML for professional reason, how could she easily forget it and mix her work with feelings? It made me feel like she became self-entitled and even immature after just a little bond time with ML, as opposed to her previous mature demeanours. Feels like she's being clingy. Their relationship has not grown to the friendship level yet, and there's not enough trust or bond between them, yet the FL abruptly got jealous out of nowhere, which means the development is rushed. Feels like the playwright just skipped a few stages.

Another thing that puts me off is FL's stiff and unnatural way of acting. I like her in the first few episodes because she seems to be a strong and independent female character, but then her expressions kept getting recycled, and she has that same grin for several different emotions, whether she's being embarrassed or happy or gentle or awkward or angry and whatnot. But for the clunky dialogues, i wouldn't know she fell in love, more like she's reciting lines instead of acting, cause i don't see any chemistry. So many thick-skinned, unrealistic, one-dimensional characters as well.

By and large, the drama started off pretty promising but then went downhill with all the corny scenes, cringey unnatural romance, and unrealistic behaviours stemming from jealousy, which i felt so uncomfortable watching. What a shame i have of drop this. *sigh*

on ep12-13 and omg it's so tacky i cringe, especially with with the monologue and overhearing tropes.. Idk what went on in the playwright's head, probably they ran out of ideas. Btw why turn this into a musical?? I don't mind tropes or clichés, but they need to be executed properly, which they weren't and turned out to be so cringey and tacky.

On ep 9 and ML is a thankless ungentlemanly insensitive robotic control freak who doesn't care about FL's happiness. I truly feel sorry for FL for getting entangled with him. I don't find it romantic when FL is forced to do something against her will and has her freedom to pursue her hobby, career, diet, lifestyle, and other things restricted or judged by ML. It feels as if she was imprisoned in ML's house, and he doesn't feel a shred of guilt or has no qualm watching her being unhappy. He doesn't even want to take care of her when she was crippled. Her entire career, reputation, and freedom was upended because of him. Yet this insensitive ignorant guy doesn't even notice, and only knew that because his friend told him. Once he knew, he doesn't even show concern over it. He doesn't care about her freedom and privacy. He doesn't know emotional support is needed for a child's development, and doesn't allow his kid to attend the school FL chose, which is very beneficial for the kid's growth, because of his stupid jealousy (which baffles the hell out of me because of the inconsistencies in his character. He's a calculating and rational person who would take into account the pros and cons of everything before taking action, now he suddenly turns dumb and doesn't even realize it). On top of it, he prevented FL from spending quality time with the kid. He doubts and criticises FL's decisions and professional opinions. He threw a wet blanket on every joy of life. I don't think this tyrant deserves FL right now. Really hope his nasty personality could improve later on, cuz right now i don't think there's any romance.

Decided to drop on ep5. ML has no hope of improving his obnoxious personality. He's a stalker who has no respect for FL's privacy, and constantly high-roads FL or ridicules/distorts her words. I don't understand how a neurosurgeon can have that much free time to stalk someone. If i was FL i would be creeped tf out. The real FL, however, is constantly placed in a situation of forced and cliched romance, not to mention needing saving all the time. Despite her verbal ability to defend her clients and [sometimes] herself, she keeps getting tongue-tied and humiliated by ML. Each time it happens she would either blush, act like she's shy and embarrassed, or stare helplessly in a romantic manner at ML, instead of using her wit and standing up for herself. Their so-called romance scenes make me cringe so hard cuz they're utterly cliched and forced that make FL look like an incompetent and redundant errand chic. The drunk hug that looked so fake, the accidental bumping into each other and staring into each other's eyes, plus FL being a whiny crybaby who could easily confide in ML (who was a stranger at the time) about her inferiority complex and insecurities, ML imposed all the decisions on FL, who always ended up accepting despite not wanting to,..... All of which gave me secondhand embarrassment and I felt so uncomfortable watching them instead of being moved. I was willing to overlook a couple of these instances, but it appears the drama is rife with those.

tldr, if you would like to turn off your brain aka disregarding logic, or are in the mood for overbearing stalkerish ML and nosy, reckless, damsel-in-distress FL who needs saving all the times, this is defo the one for you.

On ep4 and i still don't like ML. He's still a d*ck who doesn't respect other people's time and privacy. Can someone tell me when, or rather whether, he would stop being so obnoxious?

except for ep 12 & 13. Watching him in these 2 eps was a torture. ML took being insensitive by means of cluelessness to the next level.

This is my comfort show. ML is too cute i can't.... (ಥ﹏ಥ). Watching him in love with FL and maturing is pure bliss.

on ep27 and i think the lead's romance is quite shallow.

on ep30 and I'm drooling over Bai Jing Ting's chiseled muscles *nosebleed*

But she does get better in later episode, no longer a crybaby and can totally take care of herself. So glad she isn't a damsel in distress.

on ep2 and i really don't like FL getting wimpy or pouty every time she encounters a stressful situation. *cringe cringe* . I don't get why ML fell for her.

he came back alive, then gained the ability to see the future in his dream (he said it in ep6).

don't expect any romance in the first 4 episodes :v

i can imagine the movie set. They probably spent more time laughing while trying to shoot than actually shooting.
It's even funnier when the 2 leads are among my favorite actors :)))))

Main couple's chemistry is to die for. But I'm not interested in other side couples so I ended up skipping a lot. At first i was intrigued with how the FL's bro and her best friend would end up, but her friend turns out to be such a pushover whose plotline includes her prolonging unnecessary misunderstanding and making stupid mistake that eventually killed my interest (well, her clunky acting also plays a part). ML's uncle is immature and impulsive that i have zero qualm skipping scenes where he was in. And finally, I wish the scene editing hadn't been so back and forth with the timeline. It totally disrupts the mood and is very frustrating, because when i want to know what would happen next I was put off and put on hold with irrelevant scenes. It would've been way better had this been a straight storyline.

finished. I like the leads a lot, especially FL. But it drags too much after ep13. FL hasn't even opened up to ML about the reason they broke up.

on ep 13 and the journey was great, but i think it should've wrapped up. I don't feel excited to keep watching tbh.

on ep 1 and i'm already hooked.

yeah she's such a B. I can't stand her either.
