That said, she did tend to overthink things when it came to the male lead, which sometimes led her to assume the worst. But once Xu Huaisong clarified that he never mocked her or saw her as pathetic, she understood his intentions, let her guard down, and allowed him into her life. When it came to their relationship and the distance between their countries, she never immediately considered breaking up. Instead, when he came to China, she was the one who brought up the need to find a solution together. She also thought about ways they could both make it work, rather than expecting him to sacrifice his career for her. Lastly, when she realized that Xu Huaisong was feeling jealous, she reassured him and addressed the situation with Li Shican directly instead of letting misunderstandings grow. She may not be the kind of character who adds humor or dramatic flair, but to me, she was just as compelling in her own way.

It’s definitely more on the rom-com side. Even though the female lead has to deal with plagiarism accusations and a lot of hate, she doesn’t let it bring her down. Instead, she’s determined to face everything head-on and handle it fairly through the law. The male lead adds most of the comedy, since he’s quite petty in a funny way. His friend and coworker shows interest in the female lead, and he keeps trying to get in between them and limit their interactions as much as possible lol. The first episodes were definitely good. I’d recommend watching them to see if it suits your taste.
