Yeah, Yan Jiang is so adorable and quite deep character. I'd love to find out what caused his disorientation (the novel reader told a bit, and it's really interesting, YJ has so dramatic background). But I don't think they will do it in the drama, and it feels like waste of potential.

It's such a shame we, int fans, can't appreciate this kind of humor properly, not knowing language and all the nuances 😔
The main problem of this drama for me is that it was made and promoted as costume rom com for a young audience, meanwhile fl isn't interested in romance at all. So all issues that were touched in the story like a professional path of the woman in a men's world, government affairs and so on, that would be appreciated in a more serious historical drama, are not welcomed here. So it's hard to tell what genre do we watch. And yeah, the main value of the drama is support characters and a humor. Only this keeps me hooked.
