yeah, we def don't need another hpjc vs novel readers conflict 😒
If so, the plot will revolve around two soldiers and their opposite systems, which is pretty interesting itself, but they still need a scientist to explain all the crap they will go through 😆

Also AI proposed to unfold "Chu Nanfei's exact dynamic with his rival, the rigid military traditionalist Jiang Yihan" 👀 ok...
The Unorthodox Pragmatist (Chu Nanfei): Chu Nanfei operates on fluid, adaptive, and highly flexible logic. Facing anomalies, paranormal threats, and mutated biology in the deep Abyss, he recognizes that conventional military field manuals are useless. He is willing to bend rules, make gut-call improvisations, and cooperate with unusual assets to ensure survival and mission success.
The Rigid Traditionalist (Jiang Yihan): Jiang Yihan is the embodiment of orthodox, strict, military bureaucracy and uncompromising discipline. He believes the chain of command, established protocol, and standard operating procedures are absolute laws designed to prevent chaos. To Jiang Yihan, Chu Nanfei’s unorthodox methods look less like heroism and more like dangerous, renegade insubordination that threatens the structural order of the military.
Despite their continuous friction, their dynamic is defined by a deep, unspoken underlying brotherhood and shared patriotism.
No Personal Malice: Jiang Yihan does not hate Chu Nanfei out of personal spite; he genuinely believes Chu's reckless nature will get the unit killed. Similarly, Chu Nanfei respects Jiang's flawless tactical competence and absolute dedication, even if he finds his rigidness exasperating.
When standard protocols inevitably break down in the deep ruins, Jiang Yihan is forced to rely on Chu Nanfei’s chaotic adaptability to survive. In return, Chu Nanfei relies on Jiang Yihan’s ironclad discipline to maintain structure and defend the rear flank when the 5619 unit is pushed to its absolute limits.

Chu Nanfei seems like a perfect character for Rui to bring to life 🥹 BUT if I get it right, there are two main characters - Chu Nanfei and Zhou Fanghua. But we didn't see any info about the actress for the lead cast yet. The next goes Jiang Yihan who seems a perfect fit for Huang Jing Yu. So there are two options to me. They will announce the FL later or they decided to merge CNF and ZFH in one character )) Cause I was thinking Rui will play a scientist meanwhile HJY will play a soldier (which is obvious). Interesting how it will be unfolded...
I can't patiently wait for the drama announcement, including characters, synopsis, etc. So even though I didn't…
Chu Nanfei (楚南飞) Role: Male protagonist, 23-year-old deputy company commander. Description: Optimistic, highly intelligent, and quick-witted with an exceptional memory. He is deeply loyal to his country and fiercely protective of his fellow soldiers, though he struggles awkwardly when interacting with women.
Zhou Fanghua (周芳华) Role: Female protagonist, 28-year-old virologist and ancient history enthusiast. Description: Sharp-minded and educated abroad, she brings crucial scientific knowledge to the team while navigating the dangerous biological anomalies they encounter.
Jiang Yihan (江一寒) Role: Young military staff officer and initial commander of the "Zero" unit. Description: Hails from a military family, strictly principled, and views his duty entirely through the lens of honor and rigid military discipline.
I can't patiently wait for the drama announcement, including characters, synopsis, etc. So even though I didn't read the novel, I asked AI to give me a short description of the main characters, and it's interesting -->
Are they still crying about gallery 😑😑. Drama is finished and it's just 3k now. We don't even post edit…
In FoF page they keep posting actors photos from events not related to the drama at all without second thought (and it's already 9,8K karl), but 1 my photo with the cast and the director they deleted the next day. I'm so pissed with these double standards 😡😡 (at least now I know whos fans they are and why he's top in the leaderboard, it's all clear)
I’d like to try them too. I like sour things, and most regular “sour” candies aren’t actually that sour.…
The set is called Final Boss lmao 🤣 I'm opposite, I don't like sour taste. I can't even eat lemon as Rui does, so I can't imagine how these dried fruits taste 💀
MDL moderators are so biased! They keep returning to this page and delete images from the gallery related to the drama, meanwhile I still see other drama pages with 9k+ images in a gallery, packed with unrelated photos. And don't tell us again, it's just because you didn't find time to get there, cause you told it a YEAR AGO, and it seems like you find your time only for this page 😡
I can't get over this incredible drama. Should I rewatch it even though I never do that? Ji Ling I miss you so…
This drama is def worth rewatching or you could never get all those hints and details https://kisskh.at/photos/73oY4D_3 And when you already know who is who you feel their acting/reactions much deeper. Try it!
Oh, thanks for the recommendation. GMP is in my plan to watch list for a long time, but I can't decide to watch it cause in genre tags I see power struggles (and it's always boring for me, I can never feel invested into problem who will sit on the throne) and it's 52 eps (it's hard for me to watch smth more than 32 eps) 😅
I tried to explain about dragons=demons in the answer to BL worshipper ⬆️
Not exactly. After watching a lot of xianxia dramas I see that in their mythology gods rarely are a separate race, usually they are demons or rarely humans, who cultivated thousand of years to become deities.
For example, if you watched Till The End of the Moon, the king of clam clan wanted his daughter to merry god of war, one of the most powerful of gods, cause he was a water dragon and clam king considered him a distant relative and was proud of it.
It's because demons and gods in chinese mythology not smth we get used to in western/christian culture. Their demons are creatures of nature who cultivated their inner core, and they have powers (Qi) that can go in direction of negative or positive energy or should be in balance (ying-yan thing). So when we see confrontation of gods and demons realms in the xianxia drama (Ashes of Love for example), it's not exactly good opposite bad, their true forms are the same, animals or plants 😂
So that's why my first thought was that the Shilin sect of humans (around one dragon deity) was defended against the rest of the non-humans. But it's just my observation though.
