Happy start of filming to the curious Liang Yihan πβ€οΈhttps://weibo.com/7984544825/5333260465080049
There are 3 things that catch his attention on set the most - animals, kids and cameras, and Rui takes any opportunity to interact with any of themπ https://x.com/jinnychs/status/2089620092623765524
This is literally the only show Iβve ever watched where if I try to find spoilers I end up more confused π€£
We, who followed the whole filming period, watching reuters from the set every day, were confused af, not having idea what's going on and what's the plot π€£π€£
Yeah, I also saw that in the script his character will be changed a bit from the novel character Jiang Yihan,…
Yeah, I also don't think there will be enough screen time for a character revelation. The plot will be around the strange case in the abyss and the way they will try to solve it, I suppose. But I believe in Rui's talent to make his role layered and alive even with basic starting points.
Annael, I was checking out some new posters made by the Chinese fan club that accompany Jiarui's upcoming projects,…
Yeah, I also saw that in the script his character will be changed a bit from the novel character Jiang Yihan, so the name is changed a bit too. I just hope he won't be Zhuo Yichen 2.0 according to the description π (I looove ZYC so much, but I just want a different type of soldier for a change)
So there will be no official announcement until they start filming tomorrow? Is this normal for cdrama?
Yeah, some dramas are filmed without official announcement and booting ceremonies. I'd say, this tradition (booting, fan meeting) is more about idol dramas.
Rui said to fans during Hi6 shooting that there will be a surprise on Qixi fest, so I keep hoping it's related to the drama premiere. But we should low key wait for official announcement anyway π€π»π€π»π€π»
Ok, I get you )) Well, I live in a much more cruel reality in a center of war, where every night can be my last night, when russian ballistic missiles attacking buildings around right behind my windows (I live in Kyiv, Ukraine), so chinese dramas can never be too heartbreaking for me, it's a beautiful fairytale for me to escape from reality for a couple of hours per day ))
It's just palace intrigues is not my cup of tea. I watched quite a lot and was never hooked, and now they seem even more repetitive. Fantasy genre at least has versatility in settings, realms and problems. And VoS stands alone as a unique plot itself, so I'm happy we have this drama =)
