Agree, everything seems to have been planned perfectly. Plus showing the slap as a teaser was a genius move. Had it ended happily but just with Shi De going to America and them in a good note, people might have relaxed more and not have the same urgency to watch episode 1 of s2 right away. And also the release of the bts to keep us excited and screaming was a good move too.
Oh I see. I noticed that MOD used to always be on the front page on the first videos. And on that place of highlighted series where the series scroll to the right. But now I rarely see it there. And from what I see on twitter though MOD is successful, it has lost its hype (because I think the story is dragging a bit). As to WBL I notice that at first it had a very small fanbase (at least English talking one on twitter), but now it has been increasing a lot, but still not as widely known in the BL community as others.
Agree. I also think he some times doesn't understand the more complex questions. But I also find it cute when Sam is there to help or explain. And I know from experience that having to talk in another language in front of people when it comes to more complex things is very uncomfortable, but at the same time I also like when Sam from time to time tries to get Yu to express himself, but at the same time takes the lead and talks so much. And yes, I don't think Yu is shy when it comes to kissing and skinship (Sam gets much more shy about it), he's just soft and calm. It's just so cute seeing them giggle with each other and their dynamic. I really hope we get to see more of Yu expressing himself comfortably in Japanese.

I haven't read the novel, but somehow felt like there was some kind of a connection about that car race the rich boys (and Tien before collapsing) wanted to do and the accident. At the same time it looked like a regular car. Whoever did it, they didn't stop and stay to help her, they instead ran away :/
I'm also sure he expresses himself much better in Japanese and I think the reason he doesn't express himself so much when asked more complex questions about the series and characters is in big part due to the language. I hope he gets to do more stuff in Japanese. I think the show is doing well in Japan so as his Japanese fanbase increases, he might be able to do more interviews and appearances in Japanese.

Exactly. I was thinking about gmmtv free streaming series on YouTube. I'm tired of the idea that making series available for free is charity. Some fans even mention subtitles as a charity from these "kind networks". It's all about having a good business model that allows profit (as it should as they need to pay everyone involved) and they make revenue from streaming for free on YouTube such as others make it from free streaming on YouTube due to ad revenue. Also my issue is not paying for stuff. I paid for I told sunset about you episodes and watched it all legaly and pay for wetv vip for some shows (but they can also be watched for free with a bit more delay). My issue was that they fooled the fans. Had she said from the beginning that the wedding was going to be a paid special episode, I wouldn't mention this. She would have been transparent about it and that's fine. But what can I expect from a company that sold a boxset full of issues and that some fans haven't even got theirs yet and it didnt have half of what mame promised or got defective ones almost a year after with no replies from the companies? And I'm not even going to comment on the big hirablue investment for a production that seems much cheaper than season 1 that was fully independent and had no investments or trying to fill a 12 episodes slot with barely no plot. They can do whatever business practices they want and ask for payment for whatever they want as long as they're honest and transparent. I bought the special episode for season 1. But nowadays when it comes to Mame and Memindy, they don't scam me anymore lol Everyone is free to spend money on what they want but at least demand some transparency and honesty.

They were already on the workshops with no final script. And then there were also the promises of 80% Tharntype, yet we had so much filler and non plot with secondary characters. I've dropped s2 a few episodes ago but will try to finish and then find this episode but don't feel like paying for something that was promised to me for free but wasn't delivered. But we should have known things wouldn't end well after the LBC s2 plot/script disaster.
