Maybe we were trolled with the father? A translator said that in an older interview a member of the staff said shu yi's dad was cute and the father and son interaction are so cute. And now the promo is also teasing shi de's mom and shu yi's dad meeting each other.

He's made some rock covers and I think he's been to several concerts, but it's hard to say. I hope he gets to do the music he loves regardless of what it is. He seems to express himself better through art than through words. But maybe with more interviews and lives in Japanese, we can get to know more about his thoughts.

I agree, I'll be happy with whatever they bring. The chemistry is perfect. This is one of the few BL where everything does it for me and where for once the body language, the physical intimacy and the kisses are perfect and adequated to the feelings of the characters. It's rare that fictional kisses make me want to squeal, but here I am haha

In some interviews it seems like not much will be shown but in other interviews it looks like there's going to be lots of "kickboxing" lol

I agree with you that when it came to pursue with the intent of having a romantic relationship, it was always Shu Yi. Shi De loved him first yes, and pursued him in the sense of being close to him and eventually even being friends because he never believed it would be possible to be more than that. At that time I think he thought Shu Yi was straight so it was totally out of question for him to do an active romantic pursuing as he always thought that would infuriate Shu Yi and push him away forever. And I even appreciate that he respected Shu Yi's wishes and walked away when Shu Yi said he didn't want to fall for a man. And I'm happy he never tried to force anything with Shu Yi.

But now he knows Shu Yi is not straight and that Shu Yi can love him deeply, so if he in fact left Shi De and hurt him, I'd like to see Shi De taking initiatives and actively pursuing Shu Yi this time. I loved Shu Yi pursuing Shi De romantically and all his bold moves, but I'd also like to see Shi De being more proactive this time if that's the case that he broke Shu Yi's heart.

This BL has taken common troupes and played them with perfect execution and their own little twist, so I wouldn't be surprised if they used this common troupe of the parents but made it good. Lets see. I'm very curious to what it will be.

I also don't think Shi De would ever lose interest for Shu Yi nor would it make sense with this drama, though it could well happen in real life. I think something happened (a misunderstanding or something Shu Yi's father did) that kept them apart and then maybe Shi De didn't communicate when he was back or something and it broke Shu Yi's heart. Or maybe they're trolling us with the slap and it's nothing as dramatic as we think.

I think it's a workshop or rehearsal. They don't seem to be wearing makeup or the characters' clothes.

I saw that too. I think it's a mix of the language and being shy and introverted around other people in general. As someone who lives in another language and is shy, I can totally relate and we all need a Sam in our life in those moments haha

There was trailer for s1 and it's on wetv app but I only watched after it had already begun airing so I don't know when it came out.

Someone tell me how am I going to cope with a Friday without Shu Yi and Shi De?? I hope at least we have some good SamYu content or they feed us with some cute BTS.
