I have a question. I'll ask in a spoiler below. Maybe I'm missing something.
Why was Witch Hunt (where there was a solution that didn't involve killing or sacrificing anyone if they had stopped to think a little) 10 of hearts and The Wolf game on episode 3 where only one would survive and no alterantive solution, plus the only participants were very attached to each other was only 7 of hearts?
We've had several amazing BLs in terms of quality this year like for example ITSAY, GSP, Cherry Magic and Manner…
Gaya Sa Pelikula (like the movies) which is a Filipino BL. But yes if we're talking about Thai BL standards it would be ITSAY and MOD. I can feel the industry is shifting and the same ol' formulas don't work anymore for the public as the market is getting saturated.
Can Thai BLs just stop with the first 5/6 episodes of every series only being filler, please? lol
Agree. Nothing happens or the episodes are a repetition of each other with the same issues happening all over again until the main conflict that breaks up the couple happens in the last episodes. Then they get back together in the end where everything is resolved in a rush lol
This series is rather boring and has plot problems:-They have been together for 7 years yet this series is portraying…
The script of this show is a mess with no direction written by someone who doesn't know how to write believable and fleshed out relationships or natural dialogues (or at least forgot how to do it as s1 the characters were at least much more fleshed out an natural). I'm trying to hold on because I think Mew and Gulf are amazing actors and I had high expectations for s2... but I don't feel like keeping on watching because I don't feel grabbed by it or wanting to know what will happen the next episode like I did with s1 due to the lack of direction or logic of the plot (or even lack of plot) and cringe dialogues and filler scenes and characters.
And if I even decide to get myself emotionally invested, then at this point I'd wish TharnType would break up (which I never expected to say this)... because what toxic relationship is this in which one of them plans to use a woman to make his boyfriend jealous for some stupid mind game (lolwut?) and his boyfriend actually falls for it despite being with his gay boyfriend for 7 years. Or one of the boyfriends is apologizing continuously and saying he'll put his hand on a hot pan to beg for forgiveness after the day before being the one who was angry and having been poorly treated by their boyfriend. At least make me believe that this 7 year relationship is worth it and that these 2 make each others' lives better, even if they have arguments and obstacles along the way.
Thai BLs from the second half of 2021 onward had better meet a new standard because from this comment section…
We've had several amazing BLs in terms of quality this year like for example ITSAY, GSP, Cherry Magic and Manner of Death is going very well so far. So I think the standards have been raised and 2021 will have them higher.
Ohh...My...God!!! That mother****er said what about my babies????!? Sr I was little bit angry... But I do not…
I haven't watched last episode, but I've observed that it seems to be an Asian workplace culture thing that you don't (or can't) sue your bosses. I've seen this happen in several dramas where the bosses are literally harrassing and doing things that are usually not allowed and reportable to the HR in most western countries, but in Kdrama, Cdrama, Jdrama and Thai shows bosses do whatever they want with no consequences.
i also thought the story fell flat once they reached the beach and that was one of my issues. it's not so much…
I think for me wasn't that I didn't like the beach storyline itself, it's just that I was more interested in answers to who is behind the games and Arisu advancing to get the answers and I felt that some of the beach story were subplots and I didn't care for many of those characters and their stories and that the beach plot didn't bring me much to the parts of the story I personally wanted to see. But I feel that season 2 seems very promising after that ending.
In the Ep 3 Heart Game...was there a answer where everyone survives? :(
I was wondering the same after I watched the witch hunt. And I wonder why the witch want was 10 of hearts and episode 3 was 7 hearts game when it was much more brutal in terms of the sacrifices and feelings of the players. Not that the witch hunt wasn't for the participant as it was on a bigger scale with more deaths, but it didn't have the same emotional charge as the wolf game. I can't think of a way of no one dying in the wolf game and I think it was a purely sadistic game to break them down. If the wolf ran away from the arena they'd get killed and maybe the role of wolf passed to someone else or the sheep surviving if that self sacrifice was accepted, I don't know. Or if they kept playing it would always end with a wolf and sheep. I really can't think of a way of no one dying in there.
I thought it was great until they reached the "beach", from there it went downhill imo.
I didn't like some of the beach parts as I felt it was wasting my time from what I really wanted: them finding out who is the master of the games, how to escape and how it all came about. It felt more like a subplot to me and at that point I didn't have my emotional investment since "that" happened on "that episode". But the ending left me interested again as I feel second season if there's one will get us closer to the answers.
No, you are not the only one. Kento lacked in the acting department particularly in emotional scenes. people need…
I felt that at first, but then I felt that his demeanor adde to the character. Like he was a bit cartoonish at times like a manga character while other characters like Karube and Chota were more "human". I don't know how to explain lol But I thought he acted very well in episode 3...it broke my heart.
Someone please spoil me if the manga has any explanation to how all of this come about and if that person that we see as being the master is actually the master and what are their motives. And if the manga says where everyone else is.
