Do you think Oh will like to explore more of the Bangkok gay scene and that would make Teh uncomfortable?
I read on twitter now that they interviewed 30 gay couples as research for the series. I wouldn't be surprised if they did research for the bangkok gay scene. This would be an interesting plot.

Got to know on twitter that the ITSAY team has interviewed 30 LGBT+ couples as research for the series. P'Boss has also said he's part of the community but regardless they wanted to do research. The more I know about what webt down behind the scenes the more I love this series!

I did not understand it either until i read how Nadao productions hire their employees and how much they spend…
Wow, I had no idea. I paid for the episodes on vimeo anyway, all of them except for the 1st one. And I also bought the documentaries. I gladly did so after I was blown away by the first episode and it's rare of me to spend money to watch stuff. My only complaint is that you only rent it for 30 days instead of owning it. I for sure will revisit this drama several times.

I don't remember but it's not the same one as Aew or Teh. But I suppose all the universities the boys will go are in Bangkok so I suppose we'll get to see him too. I'd like to see more of Tarn too.

Have you already watched Untamed and He's coming to me
Done, just written my review, or may I say my long rambling about how perfect this series is haha
On I Told Sunset about You Nov 24, 2020
One of the reasons i love this cast and crew so much is how they made this series a love letter to the lgbt+ community to make them seen and understood and also show to the people who can't relate what some of these people go through. I love seeing BIllkin talking about this and aknowledging the lgbt+ community directly which is something many BL actors seem to "avoid" doing. He knows how stories like this are important.

You mean a review for ITSAY? I'll write one and it will be the first review I write on MDL, just haven't gathered the words yet to review properly. Loved yours though!

@TiagoFerreira I had no idea they were going to release the trailer for MOD tomorrow. It was about time! I can't wait! I've been a bit scared of the lack of promotion but in terms of story (different than the usual and with a noir feeling plus the crime investigation) it seems so promising. And I miss MaxTul!

Amazing suggestions! The Untamed is my favorite BL ever (yes, I call it BL though due to the censorship they couldn't be explicit)... I've also read the novel and the audiodrama. I can't get enough of the story, it always hits me hard no matter how many times I have rewatched lol

He's Coming to Me is also one of my favorite Thai BL and the best BL gmmtv produced in my opinion. At the time I had to watch with fansubs because gmmtv didn't release it officially with subtitles but I think it's now officially on youtube with subtitles. Worth the watch!

I haven't watched yet, but someone recommended me Your name engraved herein" and they said it had a similar "melancholic" feeling to ITSAY.

And then my other favorites of the year Cherry Magic (lighter and more comedic) and Gaya Sa Pelikula which is also a love letter to the lgbtq community.

Hahaha sounds kinda like the plot of 2Gether. I respect your predictions hehe, maybe they will come true. I hope…
Even though I want new LGBTQ characters, at the same time I want the story to still keep its focus on TehAew. I usually don't like when there's too many side characters.

Do you think Teh has some insecurity; that he really thought Oh had moved on? The way he reacted, when Hoon said…
I think you're totally right about the fear of rejection!

But I think what Oh understood could be Teh not being ready to "come out"? Like he understands that Teh might not be at that point yet?

But yes there is probably some scars and things to address plis the challenges of being in different universities and Teh not being where he wanted to be. Just because they want to have a relationship now it doesn't mean everything will be perfect now.

I hope that the challenges for part 2 are not the cliche university BL ones but I'm hopeful because the script for that part was wrote and throught out long ago by Goy and Boss since the beginning as the series were first thought to be 10 episodes.
On I Told Sunset about You Nov 21, 2020
You know what I love about this series (and GSP does this too)? Only love for one another wasn't enough and that's all too real. Aew wanted to be loved in the light (in the sun) and Teh wasn't ready for it yet because he still needed to accept his sexual orientation and he was scared he was going to disappoint his family and friends. In the end even though not verbalizing this, Aew understands that it's not his right to force Teh to come out and all he wants is to be near Teh even if just as "friends or rivals", he just wants him near. And Teh after losing Aew to Bas realizes that it's not fair for him to expect Aew wait for him to be ready and meanwhile be his secret while he finds himself out. So despite realizing he lost Aew to Bas (he didn't know they had broken up), he still runs to the sunset with Aew as promised, because all he wants is to be with Aew and cheer for him regardless of having him romantically or not. But then and only when he knows Aew is not with Bas anymore, he gains courage to give it a shot (probably also influenced by his brother's talk and support).

I think that the main takeaway is that for their relationship to work out they both had to be at the same stage and not at different stages of one not being ready to come out and the other being ready. Both were valid, but until that point where they meet at the sunset, they were simply incompatible.

And in a way both Teh and Aew had to first let go of each other and each go on an individual journey to then grow enough to meet each other at the same point and walk together from there.

Does this make sense or am I still too overwhelmed by the episode and now the documentary? lol
Besides that awful proposal that I won't comment anymore, why did Techno think Tharn was cheating with a woman? Wtf? Techno might be "funny dumb", but he knows perfectly well Tharn is gay and has known Tharn for over 7 years to be making that assumption right away, taking pics and stirring up unnecessary drama. It made zero sense. Was it for plot purposes? Who is this Techno (and basically all s1 characters)? Was he lobotomized??

Is it me or was that engagement hella problematic? "Promise me I'll always be the one and only third (place) woman…
I loved Thorn in s1... another character they killed for this season. Why are they even talking about Thorn's sister during an engagement that should be THEIR moment? Why is this number 3 thing even brought up? It was so non romantic and weird. We already don't know the woman from before, so our attachment to this engagement is not much, but then they had to ruin it with that "number 3" and "Thanya this, Thanya that" conversations during what should be a romantic and happy moment of the couple. If in season 1 Thorn's relationship with Tanya was cute and not overplayed, in this episode it looked toxic and obsessive indeed.
