It's bizarre that at the end, everyone escapes the building but the ML, his father and Ding Beifan stay just to stop the bomb! They could have just escaped like all the others. Instead, they're each going to risk their life, not to safe other lives (everyone safely got out), but to save a building? Makes no sense.
By ep 8 too many people know the secret of Skunk and Karma, even their meeting/plotting point at ajumma's house. It became too risky. It began with 2 then 5 and it grew to at least 8 people. Its too difficult to succeed when too many people are involved/ threatened and some even betray.
I'll give it a chance but it's almost the end of ep 1 and a major event makes no sense. She's followed by a guy in the night, right by her home and running. Why isn't she screaming so neighbors can hear and help. The bad guy follows her into her restaurant; she thinks she killed him by accident. Her mother and grandma are right behind that door but they don't know anything and instead of yelling for them, she goes to the police. Why? It's the middle of the night, the young woman walks into the police station to probably report she killed the bad guy, shocked. No one asks anything and she's sitting in line waiting for her turn. No police officer asks her anything, like it's the most normal thing that a young woman would just walk in the station in the middle of the night and then wait and wait.
I really dislike Wenika's wardrobe choices. I am a woman, but I'd NEVER go to out to do business dressed like her. At ep 11, she's wearing an outfit where we can see her naked skin from below her bra all the way to below her belly! There is a time and place to wear her kind of clothes, but not while doing business. Its' beautiful and sexy, but belongs to a different setting. Almost everything she's wearing is showing her skin below her bra and her belly. Or she's wearing corset types of clothes. That is certainly not what a business woman should wear, not even in Thailand.
Thirakit is way too stiff in this drama. He is no picture of a loving husband, even when he tells Wenika he loves her. I'm not seeing emotions from him. His smiles look fake. I don't even know if the tear in ep 11 is real.
GROSSS! Someone can tell me if there is something sexual between T and his aunt? I watch a preview end of ep 14…
I think that is she's his wife and not aunt, she'd love him and be more jealous and possessive. As it is now, she knows he's sleeping with all kinds of women, and married Wenika, and doesn't seem to mind.
What I like about this drama is that the family Bua stays with is very kind! They get along well and aren't mean. They live in harmony and are helpful. Even the servants are treated rather well. Sure they bicker here and there but it's not serious. There's a little jealousy from wife #1 towards wife# 2 but it's not bad; rather funny sometimes. Wife #2 really respects and likes wife #1. The younger second son isn't always treated as well as the prodigious fist son, but he is not mistreated and they love him.
This drama is mostly about the ingredients used in past Thai medicines and promoting how Thai doctors were good at using them in the past. It seems as if the doctors in this drama were more pharmacists than doctors. I would think that doctors need to learn to diagnose patients and treat them with medicines that have been already produced by an expect in medicine manufacturing (a pharmacist). Here, the doctors are expected to make their own medicines. But I frankly don't care about the detailed ingredients used in past pharmaceuticals. I started watching this drama for the story about Bua going in the past and I thought there would be some awesome adventures, etc. Instead, it's all herbs and medicines. And sometimes, a listing of ingredients Bua used in the kitchen to make healthy food. I was hoping that the story would change. What a waste of time. At the end of ep 13, it's still the same stuff: medicine and herbs!
I find the ending bittersweet. Up to the end, I disliked the FL Yodthian. Nopparuj deserves way better than that bland, lying woman, who all the way to the end supported her bad sister. I don't care how awful and sad the sister's past was, nothing gave her the right to take everything from Nopparuj and create all this drama. The fact that she gave it all back doesn't change all her evil deeds. Yodthian couldn't get my sympathy given all her stupid actions and thinking. In ep 23, she's mad at the ML because of his revenge. What revenge? The ML didn't plan a revenge, he just wanted to get back what should belong to him. In ep 24, the FL pregnant, Nithan is dead, the bad sister is hurt and all of a sudden nicer( why nicer all of a sudden?) Nopparuj, who all along loved the FL, tells heragain he loves herand pouf! She's all happy and they get back together. Like she just found out that Nopparuj loves her. Nopparuj acted well and I could see his emotions for the FL. But I didn't see true love from the FL for the ML. The evil sister acted well. Nithan acted the evil guy wonderfully. Well, I just couldn't stand Yodthian all through the lakorn. I wasn't happy that Nopparuj's mother didn't go to jail for attempted murder in ep 23 and causing her husband to die earlier. Sure, she got burnt, but she didn't show any remorse and I wanted to see some reaction at the end but they showed nothing. Nithan became paralyzed but for him too, I also wanted to see remorse or some acknowledgment that he got punished. But nothing.
Ah... that bed scene in ep 10! What woman doesn't dream of going to bed with a sexy man like him? Well, at least there's two in the world who've had the pleasure to experience it. Tsao Yu Ning's real former and current real girlfriends!
Both of them his daughter, why he tried to kill one to save another? If one live, then go with nature.🙄
Yeah... it makes no sense. Two identical babies but the father, for no particular reason favors one over the other. So he decides to sacrifice the healthy one for the sick one. This with no evidence that it will work and he may lose both at the end. I'd love both of them and at least the healthy one will survive.
What a well played role of Nithan. I have not seen the work of this actor before but bravo he is doing an amazing…
You are so right! He's wonderful in the role of this perverted villain. His facial expressions are amazing. Even the tone of his voice perfectly matches his bad guy character.
Interesting to watch but many lame parts. FL just gets released from jail and walks into a luxury hotel and washes her face, like security will let just anyone walk in. Exactly when the ML that she hates happens to be there. All of the hotels in Bangkok, what a coincidence! Good guys hiding and buying a used car. In a large city of about 14 million people, the bad guys just happen to drive by that particular tiny car dealer, one among hundreds, in the wide city of Bangkok and see the good guys. Another extraordinary coincidence! I am not sure that I like this remake too much. Seems like the ML has a very weak position in his own company while his stepmother (not even legally married to his father) controls everything and even has his mother's jewelry. Too much heavy plotting against him.
Why does the prince's mother, friend and a bunch of other people have to be always present when he's getting treatment? She knows nothing about medicine but checks every pill and medicine given to him. It's ridiculous. He's a grown man. And she's constantly threatening to execute the doctors if her son dies. The doctors are not miracle workers; they can only do so much. And if someone's too sick and dies, it's not their fault. If I were a doctor, I wouldn't even want to treat her son if I risk getting killer.
No matter how bad a medical student Bua was in the modern world, she should know the most simple treatments. Such as for malaria, which affects millions of people in hot/tropical countries such as Thailand, is cured with quinine. She could have right away insisted that the prince take the quinine Dr Bradley proposed. Instead, she just says to see Dr Bradley. That makes no sense.
