That was some mother there! For her own satisfaction and revenge, she messed up her children real bad. They were mentally disturbed, extremely unhappy and one died as a result of all the drugs she gave him to change him into a woman. The worse is that the mother is all forgiven at the end and all is well for her thanks to Thai everlasting filial love. No matter the evilness of the parent. Disgusting.
That Mak is really not intelligent. Once he found out that Nak's a ghost he's constantly scared and keeps running away like a coward. Not once does he have a serious conversation with her. Obviously she has not hurt him so he could perfectly talk to her. What happened? How can we still love each other when you're dead? How can I help you to leave this world... And Nak ghost just hangs around, talking love and not leaving, without telling anyone what really happened and how the mother-in-law is a killer. At ep 20, she had plenty of opportunities to tell her side of the story. but no. At ep 22, he is so weak and laughable, he can't even fight a normal looking guy who's holding a jar! The mother-in-law just keeps bossing everyone. The Abbott is hardly doing anything, even when people started leaving the village while it's his job to get rid of spirits. Sayood knows something but keeps her mouth shut because she wants to marry Nak and listens only to his mother. I wouldn't be sad if she dies at all. She is a weak and selfish character. The producers are instead adding several episodes of nonsense to make extra money. This could have ended a while ago.
Mak’s mom better receive her karma at the end of the series, with everyone knowing that she deliberately let…
I agree with you. She is so evil I can't help hating her. What I find strange is that everyone is trying to tell Mak the truth but he doesn't believe it and the Abbot, a monk, is too scared to go tell Mak himself but sends everyone else to their house, even the little kid! What a coward that monk is.
After ep 4, I find the ML rally funny and I love his acting. The FL isn't such a good actress. She's playing this supposedly smart person but always seems wide eyed and clueless, with this dumb, surprised at the slightest thing, look on her face. The fantasy part of the drama is awesome. But the drama focuses too much the of K-idol built up and K-idol nonsense which is fine for viewers who like this type of drama . But it's so childish and boring and there are too many idol drama scenes. It's bizarre to see the Rembray serious and powerful character from one world become an unimportant wannabe star character in another world.
Will this lakorn only have 12 episodes? How are they going to develop Pa and Nop love romance in only 3 episodes…
I think that there's a lot more than 12 ep. Because: -the story between the two leads needs more time to be completed -the relation between the mother-in-law and the FL hasn't yet changed for the better -the relation between Thom and Lita needs time to grow -the sister-in-law needs to change for the better and find a partner (the servant?) -the bad guy who pretends to be rich and wants to be part of the rich family hasn't yet fully shown his true colors and isn't punished -the story of LIta's father isn't yet developed -the past of the mother-in-law isn't disclosed yet -the past of the FL isn't disclosed yet and we don't know what the result of the accident was
After watching the first two episodes, I feel like quitting but will give it more time. The FL is very annoying and absolutely unprofessional. She should have been fired the moment she didn't listen to orders and turned off her work radio because she had some grudge against the ML. The radio is the most important tool in keeping contact with employees and was a major professional mistake. They had no way of reaching her. She talks too much, gets into other people's things that are none of her business, and is too pushy towards the ML.
I hope we get to see more of Madam Lin and Wang Tao Zi in further episodes
Me too! I love those two characters Although I know that she's a bad villain, I somehow wish to keep seeing their interactions over and over. They are too funny.
I definitely understand. I mean, she could’ve went to business school first. She could speak two languages,…
Yes, no schooling at all. And for a multi-millionaire shareholder, not one person to help her? Not even one assistant? No bodyguards to protect her. Not a lawyer. Not any distant relative?
The story was interesting and the actors did a great job. But the drinking.... Every episode contained several drinking scenes. Over drinking scenes, sick ugly drunk scenes, looking forward to drinking scenes, drinking to get over the smallest problem scenes and on and on. I know that Korean society encourages drinking, but this series was just too much. What is this teaching the world? That Korea is a country that encourages debauchery, with ugly drunk people unable to cope in a society without drinking., getting drunk, vomiting and passing out. Absolutely gross and disgusting behavior.
I completely agree with you about the ML.But the FL isn't that innocent either. What bothers me most is that she…
If you are referring to the one that begins with images of a sports car spinning, it's an upcoming lakorn called My lucky star (based on an older series from Taiwan)
I completely agree with you about the ML.But the FL isn't that innocent either. What bothers me most is that she…
Ep 6, Thom hugs and kisses the FL in public while being filmed. Even though the marriage is fake, the FL should at least keep up an image instead of being filmed kissing another man. So far, we haven't seen the ML kissing and hugging Lita; she occasionally holds him hand around the elbow only.
These Thai men who adore their mothers no matter how evil they are is absolutely ridiculous. How can Thai men be so weak and so easily manipulated and controlled by their parents. Being filial to a parent should stop when the parent demands total control of the adult child's life. This particular mother-in-law deserves a triple dose of cruel and unusual punishment.
Have been reading the comments and I'm not the only one feeling how off is the ML character? Not just about the…
I completely agree with you about the ML. But the FL isn't that innocent either. What bothers me most is that she is a married woman and no matter what, she should not allow her friend Thom to constantly touch her, pull her, hold her hand and hug her, even kiss her. That's a major no no for married women. But she doesn't care; in that case, I say, if she's stupid enough to agree to her boyfriend touching her, let her suffer the consequences. Besides, her causing a hit and run without a driver's license took wiped my sympathy for her. She's acting innocent and kind but may have seriously injured or killed someone years ago and never looked back. It doesn't matter that she was younger. She's still guilty of a true crime. As for her father, he's got some nerve to tell everyone in the household that his daughter isn't having an affair while at the same time encouraging Thom to pursue his married daughter. Come on, who wouldn't think of an affair when they see a guy kiss a married woman! The ML's family isn't nice but neither if the FL's family .
Ha ha. Dr Kang disappears and, although she has hundreds of patients, the police is focused only on interviewing one of them.... our ML and the FL of course. And why is Dr Kang's student taking over the patients and not her colleagues? The hospital would never do that. The police give details about he investigation to about anyone who asks, the ML (who's just one of the patients after all), the ML's cousin.... And when the bad guys is supposed to confess where the doctor is, the cops call only the ML and the FL to come over and listen, simply because the FL was the witness. A whole bunch of complete nonsense that would never happen in this kind of investigation. And we are supposed to believe that the bad guy planned revenge on the ML because he didn't help him when he was 5/6 years old?
I think that this marriage will last even less than his first marriage! The novelty of a non-Korean woman will soon wear off. Rare Korean men marry outside their culture. For a man like him, who lives a good life all thanks to Koreans, Korean money, Korean culture, Korean endorsements, and Korean productions, he won't be able to abandon it when problems in their marriage emerge. But he will abandon his new wife in a jiffy. After all, he was too selfish in the relationship with his first who was Korean and he didn't care much when divorcing her either.
I've seen countless dramas but this one must be one of the worse and the most illogical (although I'm watching to the end because I'm too curious about the mystery). Had I been able to seen the last episode first, I probably would never have started watching. It's just dragging and dragging. The FL is not really pretty and her acting is bad. I don't like most of her clothes but, although she's supposed to be very poor, she has so many of them and they are all of good quality like the rich! Some of the pants she's wearing are absolutely ugly and make her look bad. There are way.... too many illogical and stupid human decisions. I know that it happens in lakorns but this one tops it all. In ep 16, when there's no seconds to waste and the ML and FL are supposed to help her real mother and second mother to escape the dungeon and they have the opportunity because they have the gun, they spend several minutes just hugging, talking, looking at the diamond and hugging some more and talking more. In the mansion, several good guys stop the bandit who's holding a machine gun, but instead of asking him to drop the gun, one of them spends several minutes to explain to the bad guy why he's bad and gives him time for his last words. What intelligent person would act so recklessly and provide the opportunity for escape? Of course, the bad guy shoots at them and escapes (to go in the dungeon and stop the good ML who ends up getting shot). The ML realizes that the FL and her mother could still be alive because the cave is connected to the cliff and beach at some point. So, while in the boat in the middle of the ocean, instead of approaching the cliff and beach and getting off the boat, he is about a mile away and calls her name Like, yeah, the FL is really going to hear him from that distance.
The worse is that the mother is all forgiven at the end and all is well for her thanks to Thai everlasting filial love. No matter the evilness of the parent. Disgusting.
