Ah yea, I didn’t quite get the whole phrase of “tower scene” when I was scrolling through MDL, even after watching it…. I… didn’t really feel as much as all of the other posters thought… now I see that it’s likely emotions displaced from reading the novel…

I think not yet, she likes him because affection has defo grown given all time time and effort she forced herself to spend on him…. But it’s not love yet for sure.

Oooo. That couple was good… esp they were quite young casts and relatively inexperienced actors. They actually look really good together visually, and I think Sun Zhen Ni pulled off a pretty multifaceted role.

I didn’t see it that way though, I think he knows they are all different people, coz if we went by this logic… YXW = someone else, which was wot she has told him and they have the exact same face.. and he saw that face when he saw the scene of “himself” like gripping her by the neck.

lol, I want to hit myself for starting… (yet again) without having the drama complete airing first… sighs, I held out for so long. Shitz, should have held out for another week, until only 2-3 episodes left.

I’m also super curious about this, but it looks like it will drag on though, she seems to have colluded with someone else… and I think TTMingLang isn’t dead.

I actually felt that as much as I also hate misunderstandings… most of them here were surprisingly cleared up because they talk about/admit it like after 1-2 episodes. I think the only one left was TTJ (along with everyone else) didn’t know about the poisoning thing…. I was surprised she REALLY did keep to her word and told him about his future and why she did everything.

On YXW’s part, there was actually no more misunderstandings anymore…. It was more of harsh reality hasn’t changed…. And regardless of the misunderstandings, Affection has defo grown, but she knows who he ultimately is and it most defo hasn’t blossomed into love yet… so the feeling on her part are defo ambivalent.

Thanks for this, I was trying to look for the exact chapters without reading the entire novel, I’m not actually interested in the novel because I find the ML in the novel too sadistic… and I don’t really feel or get any love feelings going on. BUT my interest is still piqued, so I want to peek at chapters here and there. lol. 🤣

Lol. I noticed that too… the whole blood thingy was takeeennn wayyyyyy overboard in these few episodes… why did they do so much of it and so frequently… 🤔

It’s not about him being weak or looking weak…. It’s he literally looks emaciated/malnourished/ perhaps injured/ill like mentioned above…

Ah…. I see.. but he is really getting smaller and smaller. You can see the changes from his dramas over the yrs…. I was shocked in the first episode, I truly thought he was physically going to break. It took me like maybe 15-20 episodes to get used to his really emaciated look. Luckily Bai Lu is also small. Hope he’d have the time to get well soon.

The 7-tailed fox actress is really pretty…. She seriously suits the role.

And I have to say as much as this drama is superb amazing and totally deserving of the MDL 8.9 rating so far….. Leo Luo looks reaaaalllllyyyy emaciated… I swear in the first episode, his skin had like a grey-ish tone, like you can even see that with all the thick foundation they put on him. I mean thin is fine but…….. 😳😳😳 it’s actually kinda scary looking.

Yea, it’s super rare… I thought it’d be very trope-ey, cliched, recycled…. esp with the whole 3 arc thingy… and the whole devil and god/fairy kinda thing. Supporting cast is really important… esp with so many episodes…

Complex is the right word to describe it. And in like a metaphorical way, it kinda is how the world is today….

Wow… this is so good. 😮😮😮 Like the plot is so much more unique and creative versus Love between Fairy and Devil… damns, and I gave in again and started before the entire drama is completed, I’m so going to regret it soon. Sighssss…

The CGI is good though I find they’ve overused it at times i.e the fighting scenes, and the supporting cast is solid… really surprised by the plot…. (At least so far, truly hope it doesn’t deteriorate as it progresses….) The dream thing really reminded me of Eternal Love of Dream but the storyline here is more sensible and the progression was a lot smoother.

Would like to say the whole Miao Luo character, esp the actress is amazing… specifically in comparison to all the 3WL antagonists… like it’s real… even with all the CGI nowadays.
And Vengo Gao as DiJun is….. superb spot on esp after reading the novel….
