Two different physiatrists said she's fine š I honestly hoped she's mentally ill but she's just a bjtchShe even…
Lol. I like your last statement! I laughedā¦. everyone is so riled up by Song Jiaās character. I am too. Esp the whole car exchange⦠but there really are discrepancies⦠and Iām as curious to this as much as Iām curious wrt on-going caseā¦
Two different physiatrists said she's fine š I honestly hoped she's mentally ill but she's just a bjtchShe even…
But thenā¦.. I really hope they provide an explanation for the discrepancies thoughā¦. Regardless of who is having the mental illness⦠like⦠esp the points I mentioned in the spoiler. I also really want to understand wot is on about the hotel room thing⦠hence why I tracked down the novelā¦. Butā¦. There is no Eng translation and itās not a webnovel, itās a published book⦠had to collect bits and pieces via the webā¦
The on-going case I have no doubts it will be solved⦠it has been progressing well.
Guys and girls. Regardless⦠I still really liked this drama. Still looking forward to the ending, kinda counting…
1. Like Pei Zhen and himā¦. She sent him signals but it seems like they both have contradicting memories on wot actually took place wrt his responseā¦.. I legit donāt think she was hallucinating thoughā¦. Wot took place in the room, fine, that was her deduction⦠but wot she said about him telling her if she divorced then heād follow suitā¦. Thatāsā¦ā¦. š¤ 2. The slitting of FLās wristā¦. Hurmmmmā¦. Is he not hallucinating? She clearly doesnāt even have a scar⦠she was unscathed.
Guys and girls. Regardless⦠I still really liked this drama. Still looking forward to the ending, kinda counting down. Everyone is so pissed at the FL (including me, kinda reminds me of some real life people Iāve met that have said the exact same things) but no one brought up like how the ML might have a psychological thing going on⦠š¤£
I still think itās super good although there are so many eye-rolling moments. The lead actress really managed the role super well. She totally makes your blood boil, but at the same time puts one at awe when it comes to her commitment to work.
She reallyā¦.. knows how to suffocate and drain a personā¦. Not even kidding. I mean wot kinda bullshit was…
Lol. But the entire thing gives a dejavu feelā¦. like Iāve heard a similar story from a friend before⦠or Iāve heard similar words or scenario from someone beforeā¦. Which I always find so childish and self-centred.
I still canāt wait to see the last episode later⦠though from me hunting down the novelā¦. It looks like the ending will be quite open⦠though they did actually get a divorce, but I wasnāt able to suss out if he actually cheated.
I kinda respect the husband for not equally giving her back by constantly asking her if she actually loves him. Work as a reason only takes it that far, at some point it becomes an excuse. If it was me Iād just shut her up by asking why did she even ask for a divorce in the first place even when everything is just suspicion without proof. I donāt see her throwing all suspects into prisonā¦.. š super double-standards. Which fine, she admitted. But sheās being super unfair.
I swear Lee Dong Wook literally became better looking the past 2-3 yrs. like did he actually get micro-surgery on his face? Or is the change in hairstyle that big an impact? Or is it just men like him age like wine⦠coz he also looks quite different in Hotel King vs hereā¦. Defo not weight relatedā¦ š¤š¤š¤
I've watched 12 eps so far.As I said in my previous comments Ran dong is an excellent policewoman but her job…
She reallyā¦.. knows how to suffocate and drain a personā¦. Not even kidding. I mean wot kinda bullshit was she trying to justify when they were talking in the carā¦.. Sheās super self-centred.
Yeap, couldnāt agree more⦠and hence why she admitted it⦠when she gave analogies to their 15 year relationship.…
Hence why I was surprised she asked for custodyā¦. And the husband actually said the kid will be totally fine with herā¦.. I was like thatā¦. Is strange.
But I personally think sheās veryā¦. Uhh⦠self-centred⦠I wouldnāt say sheās selfish per se⦠but she has this thing whereby she is lost in her own world and everything revolves around herself mostly⦠until she comes back to reality at times. Likely due to ego I spse. So sheās more like a dude which probably made her choose the professionā¦
Btw, I did some digging into the novel, wanted to try to read it but failedā¦. and the preview on iQiyi for the next 2 episodes⦠š³ Iām legit super curious who that mysterious lady in the hotel is⦠coz, I donāt thinkā¦. He had an affairā¦
I binge watched 10 episodes in 1 day lol. We're solving one big case throughout the drama and we're also watching…
Yeap, couldnāt agree more⦠and hence why she admitted it⦠when she gave analogies to their 15 year relationship. She admitted that she has sort of fallen out of love with him. I donāt think she has 0 love for him anymoreā¦. But then I also think she has gotten to the point whereby sheās completely fine without him⦠hence why she saidā¦. Because I donāt love you anymore, hence there is completely 0 tolerance for any flaws. I actually think this is so true in any relationship/marriage⦠I donāt think she realised it consciously until her husband actually blurted it outā¦. In a wayā¦. This whole communication could have came earlierā¦. Then maybeā¦ā¦ there would be something left to salvage⦠cozā¦. I really donāt think it was the husbandās fault that she doesnāt really love him anymore⦠I think it was more ofā¦. The leading individual and separate lives bit went on for too longā¦.
Same⦠itās so messed up but itās the typical thing they are trying to achieveā¦. Makjang. š¤£š¤£ but this one is a bit different, I like it coz itās not youth/school bully drivenā¦. Hurmā¦, I just hope they donāt overdo the whole revenge thing⦠not a fan of revenge themes.
the first eps setup is so strange, i'm totally lost watching it
Haha. I felt exactly the same. But it all disappears in Ep 2. Iām on Ep 3 now⦠I donāt know, itās defo not strange or weird anymore but itās another revenge thrillers again. Iām not a big fan of revenge themesā¦
Who is the girl that he was trying to meet at the hotel but failed? Wot were they trying to do? It looks like…
I think itās the guy on the run. I was quite surprised coz he was just too good of a narrator⦠so basically the guy who occupies the shop/storefront on the ground floor of her apartment. BUT⦠it could be the scenario whereby all the suspects are all in on it to some extent. So they unknowingly caused the butterfly effect thing which the FL quoted. No idea, but Iām defo very hooked onto this series⦠coz I wasnāt into any of the Light On series.
Who is the girl that he was trying to meet at the hotel but failed? Wot were they trying to do? It looks like…
Because of one of the scenarios that the wife suspectsā¦. Heās gotten himself into something worse than an affair. Yea, initially I also thought he had to do with the murder but so far it looksā¦ā¦. Hurmmm, likely notā¦.
I think right now itās 50-50. Heās defo into something, yet to be seen if itās an affair⦠though it looks like it but somehow I really think it could be something else coz the way the mysterious girl replies to the txt msgs are weird. And heās always fully clothed, waiting for her. Not like in a bathrobe or something.
Ep7&8 really hit it home esp for Asian marriages from the preceding generationsā¦. I find it so ironicā¦. Because…
Never watched any other of Song Jiaās works⦠no idea who she was prior to this⦠but I really have to say she really fits this role, esp her physique. She really looks the part⦠Her hair, wardrobe⦠totally helped as well⦠like sheās so good. Switching from badass cop to suddenly her home life⦠interrogating suspects to suddenly confronting her spouse.. šš»
Ep7&8 really hit it home esp for Asian marriages from the preceding generationsā¦. I find it so ironicā¦. Because the dialogue is so realistic and relatableā¦..
āWe, Parents not getting a divorce is for the sake of childrenāā¦. This statement itself is a paradox⦠because itās incomplete and contains two opposing facts⦠they totally shouldnāt get a divorce for the sake of the children only IF they can fix it and IF there is love.
Also the FLās self-reflection and admission on how she feels over the course of 15 yrs, the progression and unwanted changes were eerily realistic⦠communication is crucial⦠or maybe like theyāve highlighted; āloveā⦠regardless of wot form it takes, is very important in a marriage. Love how they illustrated it with flashbacks⦠the way they did it emulates Wong Kar Waiās moviesā¦. š

Lol, no itās the novel. The original novel was like that. Most of it from wot I could gather.
I still canāt wait to see the last episode later⦠though from me hunting down the novelā¦. It looks like the ending will be quite open⦠though they did actually get a divorce, but I wasnāt able to suss out if he actually cheated.
