Yea. He was so good in Bloody Romance…. He totally should have made it big honestly. He was really good in Yin Yang Master as well.

Yea. Super sad. But from the few of his works you can really tell that he is a really talented actor. He has so many completed works unrealeased, it’s crazy.

I think his physical appearance, specifically his face is super versatile. Like a blank canvas which I can visualise playing various polarising roles with the help of just hair and makeup. And the most important thing is….. he has a memorable yet versatile face which is rare!👏🏻 Coz honestly, like I just get confused with Mainland lead actors at times. Coz a lot of them have very similar facial profiles…..

Yea. Something is amiss with all the acting here. Superb turnoff coz it was so apparent from the start…. esp with a lot of the supporting characters… I almost didn’t complete the movie coz of it. As I was about to give up, I noticed the plot shifting/thickening.. 🤔

Not even kidding but the cops were seriously a joke. 🙈🤷‍♀️ It probably was as bad as me acting or anyone random doing it..

Brilliant plot…. But acting was….. not as natural as I expected. I.e throughout the movie I’m constantly reminded they are just putting up an act, everyone is obviously acting…. Esp the policemen (they were cringe-worthy), and even the 2 male leads….. were subpar/average here.

As such a lot of latent messages were lost in translation because the acting was kinda forced/stiff for a lot of the cast which I found distracting. I only realised a lot of meaningful lessons and messages that the movie was trying to convey from reading articles/movie reviews, which is kinda unfortunate as I found the screenplay very impressive.

Loved it, but I’ve never watched the original Italian film. Tastefully done with solid acting, as expected of most Korean productions….

Oh!! Hahaha. Ok. Hope you didn’t regret the decision. I was kinda disappointed they didn’t go ahead with S4. It ended as a cliffhanger. ☹️

BHR was interesting…. All the characters and circumstances created for them were very interesting actually…. It’s just I wasn’t too keen on watching payback for BHR’s ex-husband + mistress. 🤣 as much as Seung Hoon’s character cheated which was wrong, I felt the relationship itself was going to end regardless. So fundamentally the breakdown wasn’t actually caused by the infidelity… it’s because they got married without thinking about wot and who they wanted as a spouse.

This series is trashy. 🤣🤣🤣 I was surprised I was so into it….. it’s ridiculous, absurd and OTT….. sometimes even unrealistic. But the most surprising thing is I actually learnt a lot of things from it because the dialogues are super realistic and applicable to times now. The makjang actually implored a lot of wisdom (to me at least 🤣🤣🤣). I got more and more into it esp S3 coz I really wanted to see how all the ex-husbands get payback although all the replacement actors were epic fail.

Ah I get wot you mean by messy, was coz of the time skips they did towards the end of S1. Oh ok, so you did watch all 3 seasons, I thought you didn’t coz you asked about wot happened to BHR.

Lol. I was kinda the opposite… so she was the one I paid the least attention to although I think she did a fantastic job in her role. And damn she looks super young for her real age.

I actually kinda understood why her husband and her split up…. Even if there was no infidelity they would have gotten divorced eventually… they were kinda wrong for each other personality wise. And I found her too demanding….

Btw, why didn’t you watch S3? Or did you only watch the 1st season?

Which part did you stop at? Anyways, she is the only one that didn’t get a happy ending… she and the ex-husband remarried but that was because she was possessed by Song Yuan. And when the spirit left her body, her relationship with her ex-husband deteriorated again. Always fighting and she was back to her demanding self.

And I totally got conned. This is the epitome of melodrama….. I didn’t even find the trio having OTT chemistry…. But I cried like there was no tomorrow. Wth….. the title is misleading…. This is just straight up melodrama with friendship and romance side themes. I thought it was more slice of life kinda thing when you hit 39 yrs old.

Damns…. Son Ye Jin is sucha good actress esp. when it comes to like crying/despair/sad scenes…. Even when there is no romance. She’s really good. 😳

Damns… as much as it is exaggerated…. It’s so realistic though…. 😱

These type of dramas should be made more often!

Yea! Exactly how I felt! I feel very confused watching them. I can’t tell if eventually they are supposed to be a trio or….. not….? I literally feel they are intersecting duos… 🤣 maybe they are in the webtoon.

anyways after 6 episode I still can’t really relate to their relationship. Need to translate that relationship chart into English. I kinda understand why Seo Ye Ji was originally casted. Lee Da Hee is seriously very tall with heels.

I was thinking the same, they put in so much effort for Sung Joon’s appearance…. But Cha Eun Woo looks exactly the same with his usual self, which is a boyband idol. 🤣 Actually the more crucial point would be his vibe as an exorcist rather than his looks. I was kinda surprised when I saw Sung Joon in the press conference for this series, he looks like a completely different dude!

Not related to being young. He just sticks out a lot when the 3 of them are on-screen. And the 3 of them look kinda odd visually. Like at least I can’t relate to them being a demon-fighting “trio”. For example, I have no idea how Sung Joon’s character looks in the webtoon, but I think he really looks the part he is playing visually and the visual contrast is amazing when he is against Kim Nam Gil.

It isn’t a requirement. The contrast is just really huge on-screen when he’s beside Kim Nam Gil.
