LOL same!!! It happened to me for quite a few dramas….. seriously Netflix has ruined it for all of us…… me for sure…. I was crazy and watched until like 6am for like The Rebel Princess and more recently like…. My Liberation Notes… I enjoy a super wide genre…. There were others… but these 2 and even this one is one of the super memorable ones. I think I binged Unexpected Falling in one go…. Like… the first 22 episodes? Until 8 am or something…. 🤣🙈🙆🏻♀️

Ah… so you liked The Confidence… I read the comments and realised they were really pretty polarising…. But more importantly I’m just tired of drug and crime dramas from Mainland productions because they are so dry and one-dimensional….. Also, the ending is always so predictable….
This one is really a thriller without no cops nor drugs for the time being…. Like it’s amazing and so refreshing!
Why is this so underrated….. this is sucha rare gem for Mainland dramas…… even the Douban rating is not that high…. ☹️ This should totally be a hit…. I wonder if it’s because it’s only a low-mid budget production….. 🤔

My heart actually pains for the ML (like his acting is that good, damns….) coz it’s basically like the title…. It started off as work but he unexpectedly fell for her……. It wasn’t something anyone could have prevented or had foresight to….. and I can understand how it is difficult for him to come clean right now esp when everything else is still shrouded in mystery…

The whole scenario between the leads are surprisingly pretty realistic…. Albeit in a really dramatic fashion….…
The screenwriter was quite smart in not doing the whole marriage thing from the get go like most cliché Mainland dramas with similar themes… the whole gradually getting a marriage license is quite believable….
