what I notice is the scenes in the drama have been condensed significantly but the drama is so beautiful
yeah, and condensing it made sense since some parts of conversation between JX and HT would’ve been out of character with respect to drama characterization. anyway, I agree the drama is beautiful. Having read the novel, I appreciate the changes they made even more since that enhanced the story so much, which is rare in adaptations. it’s usually the other way around.
ahh, I really liked the part in novel where HT “bargains” the money he’ll give the guy to stop making a scene. I’m kinda sad they didn’t keep that scene.
I really like the fact that all the characters are so layered and feel realistic. Usually in dramas, it feels…
Exactly. episodes till now have felt like getting to know real people, where you can only understand someone slowly with time but they will still surprise you from time to time.
This feels like a story aimed at character dissection. Not only we the viewers are getting to know and understand the characters but through this second chance the characters are also getting to understand themselves, each other and other people in their life.
I’m really liking the dialogues a lot. They are not flat but direct reflection of how the character is, making the characters 3 dimensional and realistic. Looking forward to the character development of LR & PWX. I’m also really curious abt SRQ, his motives, goals and priorities are too mysterious and shady right now.
xei wei is such a hypocrite it’s funny😂😂XW: Ning’er you should not let anyone know who you like or people will use your weakness against you Also XW: Makes his feeling so obv everyone around him knows😂😂
Subeoms: Increasingly complicated time travel theories involving multiple time travelers, both watches, time travel…
😂😂why is this reminding me of Harry Potter. How did I, the great voldemort, lose all my power to a child? oh, nvm the child wasn’t special, it was apparently love.
To be frank, I would rather not be told about every single detail. Your point about language is interesting. However,…
Exactly, even the dialogues & imagination have foreshadowing. In ep7 Sol imagines meeting SJ in 2023 again and he asks “who are you ? do I know you?” and ep 13/14 happpens.
Even now I can’t wait to rewatch after I’ve finished it because I’ll be watching with a lot of hindsight.
ohh, I’ve not watched hotel de Luna so that reference was lost on me, but that’s interesting.
Also, you’ve put in a lot of effort in that timeline, it’s great! Not everyone enjoys the subtle context so it’ll surely help them a lot.
Very beautiful but heartbreaking words. When she said that, it reminded me another great drama: 'The light in…
I haven’t watched this one but yeah the words were beautiful and heartbreaking. The way she explained why she doesn’t always remember her, as she is travelling between memories of when she was a kid or when she was 18, also almost made me cry.
their one night stand actually happens there in the novel, not at his apartment
