My theory is Hwal slaughtered the village because the little girl with the baby who might've been the original Shi Ho and Do Yoon ended up being raised by Bulgasal Hwal and Sang Un, and then this village ended up killing them, so Hwal went mad for them killing his family and he slaughtered the village.

Bahaha it's been so long, I had to look it up. They do, but he starts to take care of her needs a bit more I believe. Like, doesn't treat her like a door mat. Though he got some major grovelling

I hope this drama stays faithful and rooted in the mythology. So many dramas start strong and then wane off on the myths that intrigued the audience in the first place. I'd love to see a drama explain more depth into Korean mythology than a passing glimpse.

Ummmm, if you don't bring back the original cast I'm really not seeing much point. I love this show but Park Gyu Young's character was not one I'd care about

I could get behind this, the romance of this drama failed for me but a prequel and a show of their powers could be intriguing
