i don’t mind a slooooooooow burn as long as the tension is good but yea with some stories it can be too slow. i don’t think revenged love is an example of that tho since we’re not even halfway yet and there’s definitely relationship and just general plot progression every ep.

ok i could totally be wrong but this is what’s happening from my understanding:
cc has a bunch of snakes that are supposed to be kept and watched over in the cafeteria. the guys in charge of guarding them were secretly selling the hatchlings to make some side cash behind cc’s dad’s back.
then wsw comes up with a plan to help cc get his original snakes back. instead of just buying the hatchlings, he decides to buy back cc’s actual snakes from the sellers/cafeteria guys. but here’s the catch: if those guys suddenly have fewer snakes, cc’s dad will definitely notice and get suspicious. so wsw suggests doing a trade. he’ll give them snakes that look similar enough to cc’s, so they can swap them in without anyone realizing.
but turns out cc had the same exact idea, so now too many snakes were being traded all at once, which is a problem bcs i THINK snakes are territorial or something so bringing new, unfamiliar snakes probably caused them to fight and kill eo. like full-on snake chaos. that likely made it obvious something was up, so cc’s dad replaced all the cafeteria guys bcs he got suspicious of them
(also wcw and cc -since they both had the same plan- probs knew the new snakes would get killed and we’re counting on cc’s dad feeling guilty about cc’s snakes- as far he knew anyway- dying while he was holding them hostage so he’d back the fuck off cc with the whole marriage shit and whatever)
