this show is dumb as hell but i will be tuning in next week idk 😭

ugh i just feel so bad for akin. he just wanted to have fun with his coworkers but now he doesn’t know wtf happened to him. it’s so violating. makes me sick to my stomach. i completely understand why he couldn’t explain to jin, and ofc jin’s confused af too. their relationship didn’t have a solid foundation, maybe they would have been able to communicate if they had a solid foundation of trust? idk 😭 all i know is i hope akin and jin push that mf off a cliff next episode

this was the best episode so far for me. the acting, the emotions were great. i had a pit in my stomach when jin and akin were talking in the car ugh. they really made feel something this ep

the dialogue is so (i like that they’re a communicative couple, but the delivery and word choices are so stiff and unnatural to me) 😭 i know the point of this BL is to be like the classic old style ones where it’s unrealistic and fluffy and cutesy, but i can’t help but cringe every time. the things i do for my 12 seconds of realhia screen time 😩 also por was looking super pretty this episode. i am looking forward to his series with teetee

that’s exactly how i feel about the ending of the series too! such wasted potential with the parallel universe plotline and they easily could have made him know so much about phu from the parallel universes, like they could have kept the part about him crushing on him since high school that was fine but fullblown stalking was not needed, but honestly it’s mame. she’s obsessed with that shit. i’m just thankful no one was SA’ed. sometimes i just sigh thinking about how much bossnoeul could do if they had a different writer for their series 😫…all that said, i enjoyed ep 1-8 a lot, so the special episode was definitely still worth it to me. personally the ending of the special episode doesn’t bother me too much. i’m still scarred after the jack and joker special episode, so in comparison, this is not bad to me at all lol. it’s ends on a positive note, it’s just not conclusive. if they made a s2 or more eps i’d be happy, but i won’t tear my hair out if it turns out that there’s no more either lol

hmm, it depends haha. it cost me like $17 canadian, which is pricy for a short movie i’m watching at home, but i don’t regret it. i was entertained. if you mostly enjoyed boy next world, then i would say it’s worth buying. if you just thought it was ok (or didn’t like it), then it’s probably not worth buying. i will say, like i hinted at in my original comment, the otherworld phu and cir don’t have a solid conclusion in the episode (it’s happy but openish. room for more for sure), so if that’s important to you, keep it in mind.

that nc scene was crazy. bossnoeul constantly outdoing themselves…like when he put his hand on his….anyway 😭overall, this was cute. i was a bit surprised by how much of stalker other world phu is…he and cir really are soulmates. i would have liked to see more from them tbh, like what happens after the kiss haha. i wish the special ep was 2 hours long instead of just one hour.
