i have never felt so played with in my life. i cried so hard my chest started to hurt but then at the very end, literally the last like 1min 30seconds we see joke wake up in some mysterious outdoor shack with some figure we don’t see approaching him, so there’s hope he’s not dead? hope for a season 2? ..god knows how long we’d have to wait for that.
more info: in a way joke’s death is worse than the spoilers. they don’t get married (not for real anyway) and jack’s descent into like madness made me more sad than joke getting shot tbh. it’s absolutely heartwrenching. i thought i cried all i could cry last week when i heard joke died, but watching jack like that was horrible (yin did a great job tho). bcs of his grief jack sees hallucinations of joke and in the end joke’s hallucination says goodbye and tells jack to move on, embrace new love etc and it made me want to throw up.
overall if you really can’t handle sadness, then maybe skip this until there’s an official announcement or release of a s2, but i do think there are some worthwhile scenes that make it worth watching now.
Okay. I'm going to be very, very honest. This episode was not bad compared to episode 2 and 3, in fact, it was…
i agree with this! i’m still enjoying the show (the actresses are great, the story is still interesting) but i think they could have written the script better. i’m one of those people who was confused why they feel so strongly for each other already, particularly kliao. i just ended up attributing it to residual feelings from the other “timelines” i wish we got to see that growth though. that’s one of my favourite parts of a romance. i think this show easily had the potential to be a 9.5 or even a 10 if they tightened shit up tbh, but we’ll see how they handle the rest of it.
Can they ever improve their acting? There was at least some help from the plot in Love in the Air... they'll certainly…
i think their acting has improved quite a bit actually. i just dropped LITA partially bcs the acting (along with the plot and pacing, not sure what you see in it) is mid at best imo, meanwhile TBNW is my favourite BL of the year i think. they’re defs improving, maybe not like oscar level performances but defs improvement
i’m not sure if i was just blinded by how good they look together, or i didn’t notice bcs they weren’t technically dating, but i think y’all were right about the leads not having much romantic chemistry 😭. overall not a bad series though. i’d give it like a 7.4-7.7
heads up, to watch this you have to have IQIY premium or have a standard account and pay an extra 99 baht ($3ish USD, $4ish CAD) but you’ll only have access to the ep for 48hrs. basically, if you have a premium account you don’t pay extra and can watch continuously/whenever you want
I miss this series already 😭 I tried watching LITA but it’s not the same. TBNW has a better plot, better pacing, better acting, tbh everyone even looks hotter imo LMAO
To those persons who still think it might be personality disorder or something Answer me these thing Why the heck…
Also the scar on Cir’s head disappearing and reapppearing depending on which Cir it is. Phukans from 2 different parallel universes noticed that lol. Plus that guy being able to read minds means the show is supernatural
if there are bonus scenes then it means the chances of a happy ending are more
it’s a big “if” but it’s nice to have some hope and mystery going in. also, from a financial standpoint, it would be a way to get even more money from fans who already watched it in theatres i guess
not sure why you’re making it seem like pam or anyone else in the comments that i’ve seen has abused the crew…
then don’t read the comments? i think ultimately we need to see for ourselves what happens before we say anything conclusively, but this is a comment section for discussion, and people are allowed to discuss the information they have right now. if you don’t like it, then don’t engage
To be honest, I don't think that spoiler should have ever gotten out. We all know it's common for people to ruin…
not sure why you’re making it seem like pam or anyone else in the comments that i’ve seen has abused the crew or cast. they’re entitled to their opinion on the available information as much as you. and according to the spoilers, jack and joke do not get married. he’s killed before that happens and the wedding is jack’s imagination. if the spoilers are to be believed, then their marketing is manipulative, and it’s a questionable decision. queer media and history affect the interpretation of a decision like that, so it’s not as straight forward as het dramas for everyone
not only the way cir looks at phu is different but his voice is so different too. this world’s cir’s voice is so soft when he talks to phu. in the last scene when he switches back and we hear that soft voice of his again i burst into tears ngl. great acting on boss’s part
