why do they keep focusing on that straight couple. maybe i’m missing something and they’re actually important to the plot (who keeps killing kliao) but my eyes glaze over every time they’re on screen, so i don’t notice. i’m sorry but i can’t bring myself to gaf about them. the series has so much potential but what they choose to focus on or gloss over is odd. i still like the actresses tho so im locked in unfortunately haha

yeah it’s all very confusing. i don’t really understand the marketing/promo/choices related to the jnj special ep in general tbh. first they made it seem like it was gonna be this fluffy wedding ep, then they knocked us over the head with a grief plot, then they give an open ending that implies more will be coming, just to imply a couple days later that they’re done with jnj, but then they also say little coy things that give us hope for more. like wth is going on lol.

uh so unless i’m not understanding correctly or they’re purposely trying to mislead us there will not be a part 2 or season 2 since jnj official on twitter had yw write their goodbyes to the characters. i really really hope that’s not the case, bcs giving us a sad open ending in a SPECIAL EP just to not continue the story makes no sense…

personally i’ve been obsessed waiting for them to announce a continuation bcs the special ep has been haunting me 😭

yes she reframed the stalking to be phu’s fault bcs she’s jealous, delusional and hates phu, but i think the point stands. he has a stack of photos ranging from long before he and cir met (some that look like they were shot without his knowledge), her words describing phu as a stalker (he just has to ignore the you tricked him part), and wim confirming that cir has been in love with phu for years despite them never really interacting until this year. imo it’d be pretty obvious to phu that cir was stalking him based on all that. i don’t think he knows about the “protecting him” part of the stalking though and i agree he’s most mad about the lying

i think he knows cir stalked him. cir’s “fiancée” told phu. he didn’t believe her at first ofc, but during the whole mess he remembers her words ( the flashbacks to their convo where she uses the words stalker/stalking a few times, talks about cir purposely moving into his building etc). i agree he’s likely most mad about the lying though

most people don’t like being stalked for years and lied to. makes them question what else the person is capable of doing or lying about. it’s like you don’t know who that person is anymore. when he forgives him, maybe he will be happy about what you said, but trust needs to be rebuilt first I’d imagine.

we saw cir’s scar reappear tho after he switched with the payu-looking cir

the person who was hit by a car and nearly died is cir from this world, no? it was after he was fighting off the guys that tried to steal phu from this world’s car. that’s why he has a scar on his forehead and went into a coma and everything.

this world cir went to black cir’s universe not too long ago (when phu from this world was sick) iirc and black cir’s body was fine. black cir explained, i’m pretty sure, that each cir eventually takes a turn explaining to the other cir’s (that need extra assistance) that phu is their other half or whatever. there could be something wrong though. i guess we’ll see

that’s not what i understood. i assumed he just saw how cir fucked up by stalking phu so he’s wondering if this universe can still have a happy ending

i knew cir was also a stalker but seeing the evidence/extent of his stalking this ep gave me chills 😭 idk how he’ll come back from this one, and apparently he still doesn’t realize/ believe he can see parallel universes so that’s not gonna help with winning phu over

he was shot twice by carbon at the river’s edge. he fell into the river and took carbon with him. carbon’s dead body is found but not joke’s. joke is presumed dead because of his injuries and circumstances. jack has a psychotic break, everyone is mourning, and at the end just when jack has finally accepted joke’s gone and there is hope jack can eventually move on, the last 2 minutes show joke waking up in a mysterious outdoor shack with an unknown figure approaching him, with joke looking kind of scared.

basically everything is gut wrenchingly sad until the last few minutes.

even though there’s hope at the end thinking about the sadness of the special ep is still making me a little queasy. i hope they announce a continuation soon. personally, i would prefer another special ep to a season 2. i think id like something new from yinwar for their next full series, maybe something light…lol…but still different and challenging

also i just had a horrifying thought. what if joke makes it back to jack, after some time bcs it looks like he’s captured, but jack has already moved on with someone else like “joke” told him to do. the angst potential for a continuation is insane lol

i think that’s kind of the point tho. it’s so creepy and so absurd that the extent of jack’s psychotic break and grief really hits you, and for me, so did my hopelessness that joke would be back

maybe carbon can’t swim lol. my theory is that it’s someone joke knows from prison or one of the horsemen

on the bright side at least joke isn’t dead!!! i can at least go to bed peacefully with that (it’s 1am here lol) if it ended without the post credit scene with joke waking up i would kms 😭😭

that’s fair. ngl i would have preferred a normal fluffy special ep. i still think it was cruel to bait us with all that wedding promo only for jackjoke to not only not get married fr but for the “wedding scene” to be one of the most tragic things i’ve ever watched in a bl, but it is what it is. hopefully there’s a s2 or special ep announcement soon

are you sure? the last thing i heard is yinwar are fully booked for 2 years and may consider another series after saving money.

tbh, as much as i think there were some worthwhile scenes and acting in this (they have some cute moments)…i think i would prefer not to have had this special episode tbh. like you said, the series ended good enough. i probably won’t rewatch. not sure why they would make this unless they had plans for another ep or season

yeah they’re not together. jack actually just finally seemed to accept joke is dead and joke is god knows where.

the ending is a major major cliff hanger. not giving us a s2 or another special episode or SOMETHING would be sadistic, even more sadistic then just killing him off imo
