this was kinda bad but in an entertaining way for me, like i was giggling my way through that last episode, even during the sadder parts.
i feel like with more screen time, better pacing, a tighter script, and better editing this could have been a fairly decent series. yes, the acting wasn't award-winning, but it was good enough, i think.
i’m trying to be patient and understanding but it’s not like the viki subscription is cheap. depending on…
yup, the only reason i haven’t cancelled already is bcs more popular dramas are subbed pretty quickly, like semantic error, but after those finish airing…
Viki ripping us off as per usual. We pay for a subscription, they release an episode yet the subs are at 0% and…
i’m trying to be patient and understanding but it’s not like the viki subscription is cheap. depending on which membership you get, it’s the same price as netflix in my country. i’m very tempted to cancel sometimes i’m ngl. it’s one thing to wait a few hours or a day but last time the episode wasn’t fully subbed until monday or tuesday? like come on, that’s kinda ridiculous.
i actually really like that the drama is just different enough from the webtoon to be unpredictable but not so different it doesn’t have the semantic error feel, you know?
I completely understand where you are coming from. But I don't really have that much of an issue with the story…
i think ppl are calling it bisexual bcs earth’s character likes mix’s character before the body swap (so while he was a guy), likes him after the body swap (in the body of a girl), and continues to like him when he’s back in his body (so a guy). we will have to see how it plays out before we can say it’s feeding into harmful tropes or not imho
Was this actually advertised as "gay" series in thailand ? I didn't pay that much atention to the adverts but…
i mean three things 1) as you said it being advertised as gay is not confirmed 2) mix’s character could be gay? and 3) in my country at least gay is an umbrella term much like queer
so i feel like this outrage, at most, is premature
I am one of the people who don't like EarthMix as a couple. Honestly I'm fine with Mix. Earth just seems like…
i’m so taken aback by this comment because it’s the exact opposite of my view lol. earthmix is pretty much the only gmmtv pairing that’s blown me away chemistry wise. in fact, i think they have some of the best chemistry among bl pairings in general lol. i do think mix is a stronger actor, but i don’t think earth is bad by any means.
i’m pretty excited for this! i don’t really like explicit manhwas bcs im like mentally scarred from all the cheating, sexual assault, and promiscuity (no offense), but cherry blossoms is one of the few i’ve come across without all of that. not only that but the story is romantic and fluffy. i think the plot will translate well into a drama.
Seeing positive comments I'm excited to watch it, but then Light on me had so many positive comments and I ended…
i also didn’t like light on me, which is pretty rare seeing as everyone was obsessed with it, but i do like semantic error, so maybe you can trust my word a little more and give it a chance lol
i was pleasantly surprised by this! i think the plot is pretty innovative, minus the obligatory engineering student part lol. the arranged marriage doesn’t seem *too* unrealistic to me, or at least why hia lian agreed to it. it’s pretty evident that he’s feeling a sense of familial obligation. yes, no one is outright guilting him into it, but i think he feels indebted to kuea’s family/grandfather regardless. i’m still not sure whether he knows kuea is kirin, but i think that will become more clear next episode. my only contention so far, as mentioned in earlier comments, is the casual colourist comments, but unfortunately i’m quite used to that. it’s not by any means acceptable, but it’s not unique to this drama. i did like that hia lian’s character shuts down some homophobia/transphobia tho, so we have some progress on that front.
i have to say this is the most i’ve been attracted to zee. something about being a rich stern business man suits him lol.

viki’s gotta start paying their subbers.
