There was so much potential with this BL, but it needs some serious work. So many scenes that should have been shortened or left out completely. The plot was confusing sometimes too.

a kiss would be more like a cherry on top. it’s a really good drama— kiss or not. also given how innocent/naïve the characters are (ex. freaking out over hand holding lol!), no kiss wouldn’t seem that weird.

side note: viki rated the drama as PG-13 and since they have a nasty habit of rating the most chill BLs as R if there are kissing scenes, i feel like it’s likely we won’t have one.

dude maybe stop projecting so hard on a make-believe character that you take offence to a random stranger on the internet expressing the way said character occasionally makes them feel? hira's not a real person. you can relax, and i can say whatever i want about the show or its characters in a space that's literal purpose is to express personal reactions and thoughts.

the whole thing was problematic af, but if you skip the brothers' (*gag*) scenes, it's not as bad. it's still problematic though: the girls are kinda creepy and the gay4u trope is bleh, but charles and anson's chemistry really carries through and charles is like ridiculously handsome so that helped get me through it.

show me where i called him a freak or weird or said anything about his social skills. i said his obsessiveness sometimes freaks me out? which it does.

it’s not his social ‘ineptitude’ that gets me. it’s that he’s obsessive and that behaviour esp in a real life scenario where we aren’t privy to all his thoughts or motivations could come across as a red flag?? i’m not sure how to explain it.

those are both great actors but i think they’re too old to play university students realistically, esp lee minki

hira freaks me out sometimes ngl. still one of the most interesting dramas i’ve watched in a while tho. it almost feels like one of those psychological/thriller romances lol

reading the comments i have to politely disagree with ppl saying it’s a “healthy” relationship. i wouldn’t go as far as to say their relationship is abusive or irredeemably unhealthy but saying it’s healthy is a stretch. hira has an issue with boundaries (ex. setting them and respecting them with the whole stalking thing) and kiyoi doesn’t view or act like hira is an equal, and the fact that hira is ok with being treated like that doesn’t make their relationship healthy. it just means his sense of self worth is so low it affects his relationships and what he thinks he deserves in them.

anyway, i’m sure their relationship will evolve to a more healthy place, and it will be interesting to watch that journey as well as their growth as individuals.

i’m weirdly intrigued by this series lol. i don’t usually like “bullying” or enemies to lovers kinda tropes but something about this is so interesting. i cant stop watching. hope someone drops a link for ep 3 soon

i really wanted to like this one because i like how the show deals with consent and other typical bl tropes, but i am getting really bored. i’m also not really feeling the chemistry between any of the leads.

maybe if the editing was tighter?
