i’m still mentally scarred from all the drama that happened with 2moons and LBC lol. i’m too scared to hope for a s3 even tho they basically confirmed it
i think i figured out why i don’t care about phayo. it’s NOTHING against benearth. they’re cute. i think it’s bcs theyre already in love with each other and we don’t really get to see how that happens. thinking about it, my favourite part of watching a romance (gay/les or straight) is watching at least one of the two in the couple fall in love with the other and getting to see the process of that. i only care what happens to the couple after they’re in a relationship once i’ve seen that “beginning”. otherwise i usually don’t build that emotional attachment to them that makes me...care.
i usually don’t care for phayo but they were actually really cute this episode! i truly enjoyed their scenes.
forth/pavel’s acting is also getting really good! i think he and kit/nine are the most natural so far.
speaking of kit, i was super happy to see mingkit this episode as well! they scared me when they kept them out of the spotlight. hopefully, they didn’t cut out that super passionate kiss that’s suppose to happen in the car though. it looks like they have kit’s brother interrupt before anything happens, but maybe that’s just the editing
i truly don’t understand why people are saying this drama is realistic lol. for me, it’s just as unrealistic as super fluffy bl’s. it’s just unrealistically angsty and melodramatic instead of unrealistically happy go lucky.
this isn’t hate per se, just my personal observation. in fact, i think it’s good to have variety in bl’s, so ToL has it's place imo
this is episode was REALLLY GOOD!! the story just became 10x more interesting. even phayo, who i usually just tolerate instead of genuinely enjoy, were really fun and interesting to watch. i had 0 urge to skip any scenes. the acting also improved in my opinion? and they brought back the puppy-ish sorta naive but really sweet ming that i know and love. anyway, i’m super pumped for next week now bye.
seriously, this series just jumped from a 7 out of 10 for me to a 8.5/9 out of 10
i’m a bit of a hypocrite bcs when they are clearly rushing thru phayo’s season 1 recap scenes, im ok with it, but i was irritated when they skipped some things with mingkit this épisode lol.
regardless, episode 4 really drew my interest!!! i have said this before, but i’m pretty indifferent towards phayo (although i have to admit that kiss and the tickling was beyond adorable), so getting more mingkit scenes made my excitement for this show skyrocket lol.

wow! you actually expressed their different energies really well!! it definitely felt like ming was intentionally trying to make kit jealous with that call in this version whereas in the first version it felt more like he was naive and truly didn’t realize the call would bother kit. i still like chen’s ming tho lol.

i understand to an extent why some of you are getting defensive: the boys and the show got a lot of unwarranted hate before anything even aired and still get hate now and they really really don’t deserve that. BUT, y’all need to calm down seriously ,, LMAO. as long as people are being respectful in their criticism and constructive, then there really isn’t an issue. whether a show is good or not is subjective. let people have their opinions and express them. even the director said he wants the good and the bad. it serves no one any good to jump down people’s throats for not liking the show or not liking aspects of the show.
and before y’all call me a hater, i’ve expressed both positive and negatives on here, but i’ve leaned more positive than negative and still feel that way. idk it’s like some people are reading these comments as personal insults against their mother instead of a show. please calm down lol.
