I've seen bits and pieces of Love and Redemption but I'm not a fan of the ML...would love some recommendations from you all :)
After ploughing through the early slower episodes half-heartedly, I got so hooked on this from about eps 15 onwards. Been watching with English subs but was so keen to watch all the latest eps to 28 that I watched 25-28 without subs - I think I understand most of it but can someone help clarify a few bits for me?
1. Why did Xue Mo go back inside the fire after having already rescued Chu Yue??!
2. Why is Xue Yao so upset to the point that he won't go to his own wedding with Chu Yue and doesn't even explain to her? This makes no sense to me...he blames her for his brother's death even though she didn't actually do anything? He feels bad that he is in love with the person his brother was in love with and died saving? None of these reasons explain why he is actually directly angry with Chu Yue?!
3. Why didn't Tao Yao say anything to Chu Yue about Xue Mo given she knew all along how he died? I think I'm missing something here because I don't see what the huge scandal is in Xue Mo's death - he accidentally died in the fire it seems, so why all the secrecy and huge reactions from Tao Yao and Xue Yao over it?
Cannot believe it is an agonising week long wait for more episodes!!!
