I was going to resume watching Watashi wo hanasanaide after I'd finished 2 of my currently watching dramas, or that was the plan until this happened, so I don't think I'll do it anymore.
The 1st week after his death I just couldn't concentrate on my work even though I have a lot of things to do now. I felt mentally and physically strained so I spent a looot of time sleeping or just goofing around (I even started watching youtubers channels, something I had never done before o_O) just to distract myself with something else (and it actually worked) because every time a song or something else remembered me about dramas or japanese entertainment in general, I would end up crying or at least with a knot in the throat.
Aside of the fact that I liked him and appreciated him quite a lot, it is also a sensitive topic for me, having gone through severe drepresion before, so that made it all the worse. I'm doing much better now (thanks youtubers! XD), but still not very much into dramas mood and that's ok, it is a process. I hope everyone is doing better now as well, and if not, just take your time, it will eventually start to heal <3
The website apparently says it was scheduled for this year's summer but they put it on hold for the time being. There doesn't seem to be much information though :(
It's not in this list so you might not know anything, but have you possibly heard anything about the Japanese…
I know nothing of the original drama nor the japanese remake, but reading this and the other comments seems like it is a matter of the japanese dramas format.
It is not unusual to leave japanese dramas' story on a midway point, specially if the story is too much to fit it into a single season (remember japanese dramas seasons are usually shorter than those of other asian countries). Sometimes they are back with a 2nd season to give it a proper final, but I think that depends more on whether a 2nd season seems worh it (profitable) or not?
I would make a few changes/corrections to the article but all in all is a good summary of them.
I have so many memories! I became their fan around February of 2005 so I was left to "suffer" along with all the fandom until their debut was finally announced. No other Johnny's band has had such a successful debut as the one KAT-TUN did. So well, they are the reason I started to watch J-dramas (Xmas nante dai kirai was the first j-drama I saw), I became a Johnny's Jimusho fan because of them, and most importantly I came to listen pop music just because of them (yes, they were my first "boy band"). So I guess that pretty much tells everything XD I'm still very fond of them but I would say I'm not the die hard fan I used to be. I'm more a general Johnny's fan nowadays.
I've watched almost all of their dramas and my favorite drama songs of them are Bokura no machi de and RESCUE. Seishun Amigo as well but I'm not counting it as KAT-TUN. The others are very good as well and I love them, except for a few... One Drop and Love Yourself, I don't like them that much but I think it is because I hate that phase of them... for me, it was when things were the worst between them, thus it still pains me to remember those days while hearing that songs.
Oh and Kami no Shizuku and Happy must be some of the worst dramas I've ever seen XDDD Second Love also kind of disappointed me... Tatta Hitotsu no Koi and Nobuta wo Produce are my favorite. Gokusen 2 also has a very special place in my heart and Yukkan Club as well, it was not the very best drama but I love Lockheart Castle (I watch every show/movie/video which uses it as location), Junno was always interesting as a blonde and Jin looks very nice on it, so yeah, I like Yukkan Club XD
Have watched 20 out of 60 and have many more on my watchlist since ages ago, will probably watch some of them next XD
I'm surprised at Nodame's position! it is my top favorite drama/movie but I never thought of it as much of a "school drama" so I'm delighted to see it made it into the top 3!! Of course Gokusen had to be on the 1st place and HYD on the 2nd. I expected a little more of ROOKIES though, as it was such a phenomenon when it was aired. 3 nen b gumi kinpachi sensei also deserved the spot. Dragon Zakura is pure love, I'm happy for making it into the top 15. It is a very nice life changing drama.
I'm pretty pleased with the list in general, specially the top 15. All those 15 titles (except for 2 I had not heard of before) are classics now!
Btw, Gakko ja oshierarenai is like the worst school drama I've ever watched and it made it into the 40s!! I'm amazed XD
I seem to find a huge gap in the story between episode 19 to 20 but my files don't seem to be wrong as I looked on streaming sites and it is the same thing.
Does someone know if I'm loosing on something or is the story just ok that way? :S
Thank you!!

Thank you for this lovely tribute!
Only 2 episodes have aired so far.
The announcement is on its official website of FujiTV

I come here like 2 - 3 times a year to see if there has been any update and nope, nothing lol
What is your LJ? I would like to join!
