Side comment. So what was the point of showing Kikyo san the flowers and Amagi's father grave? Like, did he realize he had left them there? or what did he conclude from that visit to the grave?
I think 11 episodes were too long for this plot. It is interesting at some point, but there were parts on which it dragged way too much. Aside of that, it was a funny ride Japanese drama style. I loved the setting (Yokohama <3 ) and acting was fine as well.
Among the unrealistic parts... How come Kikyo san was able to run all around the place throughout all day and still keep the energy lol Everyone walked too much, and too fast apparently xD places are near but not that much as to walk back and forth every single time. It was a really loooong day for everyone lol
This is a good drama that tried not be the typical sport drama that usually tackles students problem in each episode.…
Omg I struggled a lot with the names, which usually doesn't happen to me, but I think it was exactly because of the fast pacing. Like I had to pay attention to the scene, read the whole subtitle, all the while trying to memorize all the names (each character had his name and role and year written next to him at their introduction), the relations between each other and on top of that mapping out the timeline in my mind lol
On first eps I thought Hioki was Sho's brother, go figure my confusion 😂 and had the same reaction when Ban appeared lol
Even had to rewatch a couple of scenes because every time a character became relevant it was as if we already knew more about him than what the scenes really showed.
I watched last episode without subs (couldn't wait for them xD) and actually grasped much more of the emotions, nervousness and excitement than when I watched it again with subs. Like reading subs don't let the viewer appreciate all the magnitude of each play and the actors emotions.
I'm confused.Isn't the "Crank Up" version around 47 minutes as well? what's the difference then?I'm asking because…
Thanks for the explanation! "Crank In" version is marked as subs announced by oshiroen on the fansub map. I guess it actually refers to the subs of "Crank Up", but the "announced" part confused me because it sounds as if subs are not done yet but will be done in the future for Crank In version lol
guys don't bother with this version. It's episode 1 & 2 of "Crank Up" cut, squeezed into ~47 minutes and somehow…
I'm confused. Isn't the "Crank Up" version around 47 minutes as well? what's the difference then? I'm asking because this "Crank In" version is being subbed and "Crank Up" version is not as far as I know, so I wouldn't mind watching "Crank In" version if it is exactly the same as "Crank Up" version but if it isn't then I'm not sure anymore. Help? Sorry if that sounds confusing lol
Baseball school dramas like this one really know how to get to the audience <3 Watched last ep without subs and this was definitely one of the best dramas of the year! Now I'm waiting to watch again with subs and have double joy.
Why is the third episode longer than the others? Anyway, I was expecting a little bit more but I think it is ok for this type of drama (short non-related to each other episodes).
Lmao everyone is right about all the mess it turned into, but aside of that... Whatever happened with the cheating plot which is supposedly the main topic of the storyline?! Not that I was in for the cheating, but that's literally the drama's title! lol Like we only had Nako repeating her cheating intentions for like.. 2 eps? and then it went nowhere wth XD everything is completely misleading on this drama lol
I don’t know what kind of message they are trying to convey by making everyone on the show saying nippon instead…
Nippon is actually much more used for official purposes, or sounds more patriotic, with more emphasis. Nihon is just the standard way ¿? so as to say. It may be difficult to explain and I'm not sure I'm even 100% right but there's absolutely no reason to be surprised by its use nor to think it is a weird way of calling Japan or that they have an annoying purpose for its use as both therms are equally correct ways of reading the kanjis and are equally accepted to speak. It may just be that one is more used than the other for certain contexts and vice versa. If you are in a language school or studying with a professor guidance you should ask them about it, maybe it will help. This is a basic level question, although probably not that easy to grasp/explain at the beginning.
asdfhfjgkl Watched final episode while commuting and almost shouted out loud while on the bus when Arashi hugs Chiharu ❤️ that was so cute and then his expression when she got back from Osaka OMG we need an SP or something hahaha.
So all in all it was a good drama, it started slow and wasn't that much at the beginning but I'm glad I didn't put it on hold as it started to grow on me little by little, when I noticed I was already highly invested on it and specially on those two ❤️
What a funny moment when Taku argued with his father, all the weird comments his father made and Sayako's reactions lol. This drama is definitely very close to my heart and I'm sad we're reaching the end :')
At some point I thought Sakurai would be revealed as Yusuke's mother lol
So yeah, it has many exaggerated things and unbelievable as well. Like how come their cellphones had battery all the times all throughout the desert and such, but this is fiction so it is fine. Out of that it was a very well done script and the plot twists (although some were obvios) were surprising enough to make this such a rollercoaster.
I specially liked the fact that they did care to build a solid background and took their time to actually explain it. Episode nine was kind of slow and not much happened because of that but I was hooked nonetheless as we were finally finding out all the story behind Yusuke and TENT.
It was definitely such a ride! And actors did a very good job.

Never thought the story was such to get a second season but here I am for it :)

Even if he did so, his account was already hacked and accesible from somewhere else, so there's no point I think
