This drama is a stereo type rom-com drama
I'm not expecting much, even its fans here are as superficial as the drama LOL
just one opinion and the first thing they reply with is an insult
I'm not a Chinese romance drama fan because of this flat superficial tropes of romance stories
it's not unique nor that deep yet its fans are always rude to outside opinions

I like bromance drama not romance so I'm on the fence about this one
there is good male friendship but the female lead is ruining it

Dai Xu from bromance drama to roomance drama ,, I have a bit of whiplash lol

It got me thinking about the male lead's drama when we were young , he had there similar personality
I think it will be fun watch

The hair style also is too modern and looks actually good than the 90s

Don't watch this drama for Medical refrence because it's mostly fantasy ,, there is no Virtual reality for surgeries that's joke and a lot of medical laughing points there

This drama disappointed me a lot when I really watch it not just skimping through bromance scenes
I thought it was emotional and good but I got bored and my head hurt trying to figure out what was going on
I didn't want a piece of history , I wanted actual good brotherhood drama

Honestly, this drama caught my interest while it was on air and I loved the bromance scenes then
but now I've begun to binge-watch it and it's utterly disappointing
we are not all historians or aware of the confusing history of china so why make things hard for the audience
a lot of deceit and betrayal for what and no actual true friend can endanger the life of the other for anything not even loyalty

Plot is messed up confusing and utterly failing

It's Asian drama trope to fell in love with the same childhood love LOL and have flashbacks of their young versions

I'm happy that this drama failed misreably
well deserved failure

The first four episodes were disappointing in every way
the plot is repetitive,, the closest plot was under the queen's umbrella same story with on of the king's wives
then the male lead is helpless with no one to trust
the female lead is in a bind between her outrageous father and her new love interest
the awful evil selfish character the Queen who kills whoever she wants even the crown prince
it's too stressful watching it and we all know the ending
the female lead will get killed in the end for her father's sins and to protect the male lead from him after getting red of all the evil people there
A side from that the production wasn't good either very dark images and repetitive flashbacks
also the acting of the male lead isn't that strong at all

Unfortunately we are living in a world who has those people in power for real
people with weapons kill innocents for their own agenda not for anything else just their own profit

I'm so irritated by this drama's plot
so a Love affair of the Queen kill everybody who knows then she herself announces it , like it's nothing
the king is useless and all the officials are useless,, for real ?
