This was incredibly adorable. Had me giggling and kicking my feet. Though yeah, it was a bit long and tedious with the big-boss grind story, but the family story and the romance were 10/10!!
I loved FL being extremely down-bad for her hubby, and him going from being wary to swooning at her every action. Her pursuit was relentless xD This does role reversal so good, actually, it commits and delivers a great badgirl redemption story. ML is also very wifey-coded. Their son was also such a cutie patootie!
Definitely worth watching if you like role reversal done right!
Season 1: Atypical and enjoyable. The kind of drama that gets better as you watch. The time travel plot was well-utilized, and though certain things got a bit repetitive, I was engaged throughout and enjoying myself (also some genuinely funny comedy). Reminded me a bit of Joy of Life.
Season 2: Went downhill. Kinda felt like the drama forgot itself a lot. Several arcs felt like they went on forever, and everything was weirdly overly dramatic and somehow shallow at the same time. Still decent and better than other dramas, but it was a chore to get through. Ended up watching most of it faster.
Overall: Solid first season, mediocre second season. Interesting take on overused plot and solid acting all around (seriously, SML delivered). Probably what bothered me the most was the weird use of budget. On one hand, most scenes have serious number of people and the cast is huge, but on the other hand, the wigs and a lot of outfits are atrocious. They also used AI for transitional scenes, which cheapened the drama A LOT.
Wish they would've just made 1 season with a few more episodes and omitted S2 entirely, or made it later as a continuation. S2 was honestly not really necessary, lol.
This is just a steaming pile of AI garbage. They didn't even bother to film *anything*, it's *all* AI and they're proud of that 💀 It's really as bad as you'd think an AI 'drama' would be, like, I think it's the worst with ML whose face changes constantly. Don't bother watching it, it's seriously not worth it. I just skimmed it a bit because I couldn't believe what I was seeing.
There are so mamy hurt/concern scenes! I'm really liking the whump in this drama and how much of it there is
As for bromance, it was at the forefront in terms of dynamics, but it was giving more uncle/nephew vibes than true bros. Still good and refreshing, though.
Until what episode should I watch to not get the sad ending? I find that a lot of dramas end pretty conclusively, either moments or entire episodes before the sad ending, so I'm wondering if that's the case with this one too. I don't mind spoilers at all, so please let me know and don't hold back details! Thank you in advance!
Yes, but it's complicated. They do succeed in the end, though, and all baddies get their deserved ending, but…
It's unfortunately the other way around. The main baddies are the ones that end up in jail. This was definitely one of the weaker aspects of the drama for me. I wish we could've seen them suffer more. I feel like we deserved to see them suffer more, too.
The drama is more mystery/investigation-focused with only a side of revenge compared to a drama like The Glory, which I believe is mostly revenge-focused. It reminded me more of Blind (kdrama).
It was still a very worthwhile watch for me, though.

Easily one of the best, most unique dramas out there. Truly one-of-a-kind and so full of heart. A must-watch! I'm glad I didn't miss out on this beautiful work of art!
