- ML is drugged by unknown forces early on and this affects him throughout the entire story

Main difference is that Connection is an investigation thriller about old friends while The Veil is more of a country-wide conspiracy.

Main differences are of course the POV being that of a doctor in TNO but that of the crown prince in Kingdom and of course Kingdom being focused around a zombie apocalypse
